I had a meeting in Waxahachie about the Craft Beer and Music Festival AND this meeting was like a REAL MEETING with 20 people. The Chamber of Commerce people were there. The Downtown Merchants association people were there. There was a City representative there. This was a real meeting. So, when it came time for me to give the update on how the entertainment was going, I didn’t have a whole lot to report. But I did have questions. I needed to know the budget. They told me. Honestly, it’s not a huge budget but there is some money there AND this is the first ANNUAL Beerfest. So, We are hoping for a couple thousand people and even more next year.

So, I did fill two of the four slots with musicians but I’m still looking to fill the headliner slot. I’ll get it done in the next few days.

So, I have a short trip planned this weekend to Choctaw Casino and Resort. They asked me the name of the guest that would be coming with me. That’s when I thought… I don’t really have a person to take. Damn…That’s messed up!
