Valentines is over!!! Now we can move on. Us single people really get tired of hearing, “What are you doing for Valentines day?” We’re not doing anything! Deal with it!
I did hear from “Whiskey Neat” yesterday and she even asked me what I got myself for Valentines Day? Umm, nothing. She did the opposite of nothing. She booked a trip to Iceland with a singles group. OK, that’s awesome. I felt a little awkward asking if she was going by herself. That’s when she told me that she was going with a group of 10-15 other people. I think that might be what I need. A vacation. It’s been a while since I’ve taken a trip to the beach so maybe, I’ll use this as motivation for me to get off of my butt and take a trip somewhere. But I have to find someone to travel with because the last time, it wasn’t much fun going to the beach alone. Spring break is in 2-3 weeks. Who wants to go to the beach???
I did resist the temptation to call my ex-girlfriend to tell her Happy Valentines Day. After friends told me that wasn’t a good idea, (especially, since she has a new boyfriend), I decided to just leave that alone.
