In May 2023, Jeff Bezos proposed to Lauren Sánchez on board his $500M mega-yacht with a 20-carat ring worth an estimated $2.5M. It’s safe to say that no expense is being spared for their upcoming wedding in Venice, Italy. From June 26 through June 29, the couple reportedly reserved every room in two of the city’s most luxurious hotels, where room rates range between $3200 and $30K PER NIGHT. They also reserved Venice’s entire fleet of water taxis to transport their guests across the canals. The guest list reportedly includes heavy-hitting A-listers including Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King, Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, sisters-in-law Ivanka Trump and Karlie Kloss, and their husbands/brothers Jared and Joshua Kushner. Under the guidance of Anna Wintour, Lauren reportedly will wear a custom Oscar de la Renta gown.  

Kelly Clarkson was absent for 10 episodes of her talk show and she still hasn’t said why. But sources say now that she’s back, there’s been a huge change in Kelly’s behavior behind the scenes. Reportedly, she’s being shielded by handlers and has been less engaged with her staff. And even though employees have been told their jobs are secure, they feel like they’re walking on eggshells. 

Benson Boone is thrilled with the success of his song Beautiful Things, but he told Rolling Stone that he wants to avoid being a one-hit wonder. He said, “I’m getting to the point where I just want people to know that there’s more than just that song. I think I’m a little past that point. But, of course, I still love the song. I’m still proud of it. And I’ll be performing it for a while, so I hope that feeling sticks around.” Benson said having such a massive hit also showed him how easy it is to get carried away with his ego, so he has weekly “ego checks” with his manager, who also happens to be his best friend. Benson said, “It’s good to talk about, Hey, you know, I’m not the king of the world. I’m not somebody that everybody in the world knows. I’m still an up-and-coming artist.” Benson was raised in a devout Mormon household, but even though he no longer practices the faith, he says he’s still never tried drugs or alcohol. He said he recognizes he has an addictive personality and if he ever tried it, he said, “Dude, I would die.”    

After her meteoric rise to fame, Chappell Roan had a bit of a meltdown, calling out her fans for their “predatory” behavior, saying it freaked her out when they hollered at her on the street or randomly came up to hug her. She got a lot of blowback for it, but it worked! On the Call Her Daddy podcast, Chappell said, “I think people are scared of me. I think I made a big enough deal about not talking to me that people do not talk to me.” And her famous friends are benefiting from Chappell’s stance. She said, “I’ve been with people, like, friends who are artists, and when they’re with me, they’re like, ‘It’s a force field around us. People don’t come up to me if I’m with you.’ I’m just like, ‘Damn, baby. You say it too. You say, ‘Don’t touch me, don’t touch me. Don’t look at me, don’t touch me. I don’t know who you are.’ And they won’t come up and bother you.” 

Even though they called off their spring wedding, a source told Us Weekly that Sydney Sweeney and Jonathan Davino haven’t called off their relationship. The source said, “Sydney and Jonathan have been having major issues but are not fully split. Things are not great right now, but they aren’t throwing in the towel yet. They are working on their relationship but have called off the wedding for now.” Sydney and Jonathan have been together since in 2018, when she would’ve been 20 and he was 34. But the source says her extremely busy career has caused tension in their relationship, and it’s been “a tough dynamic for Jonathan.”  The last time the two of them were photographed together was on Jan. 20, during her time off from filming The Housemaid.
