Mar has had an extremely rough year but since her co-worker and good friend let us know about her situation this year, her holidays can a least be a little brighter.

“I want to nominate my co-worker and good friend Mar. We met a little over a year ago at our job and we became fast friends bonding over our love of Harry Potter and just growing our friendship from there. She was a dealt a tough blow in her life losing one of her children when he was just 12 years old and has been dealing with more downs lately that I wouldn’t even wish on my worst enemy.”

“Her baby girl was recently diagnosed with Autism – so you can imagine her life turning a little bit upside down once again.”

“Even though it seems like it’s one thing after another that is going on, she somehow still manages to keep her head held high and smiles amid the darkness. Her light shines so bright even when she has so much going on. She is a fighter and never waivers from her faith. She gives so much and never asks for anything in return. It is my wish that she gets selected so that she can have not just a great Christmas for her nena chula, but for herself as well.”
