Ricky Gervais hosts the Golden Globes… Adele on “Saturday Night Live”… Lamar Odom update… Liam Payne gets dumped… and Does Jimmy Fallon have a drinking problem?

After swearing he would never host again, Ricky Gervais is coming back to host the Golden Globes! He hosted three years straight from 2010-2012 and then stepped aside while Tina Fey and Amy Poehler took over for the next three. So is Ricky up for another 3-year run? We’ll see! The 73rd Golden Globes will be held on January 10.

The rumor was true! Adele will be on “Saturday Night Live” and now we have the date — November 21. She will perform while Matthew McConaughey hosts. This is the first time Adele’s been on SNL since 2008, when she performed “Chasing Pavements” and earned a spot on Entertainment Weekly’s list of SNL’s 41 most memorable musical performances. The last time Matthew hosted SNL was way back in 2003!

TMZ is reporting that the results are in — Lamar Odom tested positive for cocaine. It’s not exactly a surprise, but right after Lamar was first found unconscious at a brothel outside Vegas, the sheriff said if they found cocaine in Lamar’s system, he could be prosecuted. But, as TMZ noted, even if he’s prosecuted, Nevada doesn’t usually send first-time offenders to prison. He’ll probably just have to complete a drug education course. In the meantime, the Daily Mail is reporting that Rob Kardashian wants to donate one of his kidneys to Lamar, if it turns out they’re a match.

Could this be the reason for Liam Payne’s rumored meltdown? He and his girlfriend Sophia Smith have broken up after more than two years of dating. And the rumor is, she dumped him! As recently as September, Liam told “Attitude” magazine that he and Sophia had talked about marriage but they felt they were too young. He said, “Sophia needs to go off and do what she wants to do. I don’t want her to be one of those stay-at-home girlfriends who doesn’t really do much.” And now Hollywood Life is reporting that this is EXACTLY why she dumped him! Sophia felt like they were at the point where they had to either get married or do something else, and she decided she wants to go out and accomplish some things on her own!

After two falling accidents that have damaged both of his hands, RadarOnline.com is asking the question: Does Jimmy Fallon have a drinking problem? A source told Radar that his bosses at NBC have had several “very frank and honest conversations about Jimmy.” The source said, “Does Jimmy like to party and have a good time? Absolutely. And there are late nights of going out with the crew after the show finishes taping, but it’s not every night.” And while the source says Jimmy shows up for work on time and he’s always professional, there’s growing concern about his drinking and now his bosses at NBC are monitoring the situation. Another source close to Jimmy told Radar that none of this is true.
