Last week, I had a maid service come and clean up my apartment. They did a great job but she apparently put my YETI tumbler somewhere and now I can’t find it and I have to drink water in a regular glass! UGH!

In other news, I went to see Sausage Party on Sunday. I wasn’t a big fan of this movie. I really was hoping for a GREAT movie but in my opinion, it was maybe ok. I laughed maybe 4 times.

My girlfriend is coming to town this Friday. I’m very excited that we’ll get to hang out a little. I guess we’ll go to dinner and sing some karaoke. I don’t really have a big plan but I know we’ll make the best of the short 48-hour visit.

The biggest event of the weekend was when my manager was trying to prevent a customer from leaving my restaurant in Seagoville. He asked for his keys and was trying his best to prevent the guy from doing any harm to himself or anyone else. The guy wasn’t having it. So, he walked to his car calling my manager the N-word the whole way. My manager called 911 and when he got to his car, he poured out the beer he had in his car that he had been drinking. That’s when it took an ugly turn. The customer hit my manager with his car and then he just drove off. It was bad enough to knock him about 5 feet in the air. Fortunately, he wasn’t seriously hurt but he did go to the hospital. Another employee called me to let me know what had happened and I ran down there to see for myself. We closed the restaurant early and then I went to the hospital to sit with my guy. He was shaken up and his blood pressure was up… So was mine. He told me what happened. We do know the name of the customer that hit him and we know where he lives. HOPEFULLY, the Seagoville Police will arrest this dude today!

What a weekend.
