Lindsay Lohan breaks things off with Betty Ford…Do Justin Bieber’s neighbors owe him an apology?…And is Amanda Bynes pulling a fast one on all of us?
It was about 3 years ago when Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorce from his wife, Tish. Rumors were flying that she had a little something-something going on with Bret Michaels, but they both denied it, of course. Billy Ray and Tish decided to give their love another chance, but it’s not working out. This time around, though, Tish is the one who filed the papers. Apparently, Miley would like to talk to her dad about this, but she can’t get ahold of him. So she did the only thing she knew to do…she tweeted him. “@billyraycyrus since your text and email obviously aren’t working would you like to talk like this?” She has since deleted it.
TMZ is reporting that Lindsay Lohan has checked out of Betty Ford and checked into Cliffside in Malibu. Sources say everybody approved the move — the prosecutors, the judge and Lindsay’s lawyer. They agreed that Betty Ford is better suited for a 30-day program — which Lindsay has completed — but she’d be better off completing her final 60 days at Cliffside. RadarOnline.com is reporting, though, that it wasn’t as easy breezy as that. Their sources say Lindsay was disruptive at Betty Ford, refusing to go to group sessions and accusing the people there of leaking information about her. In fact, Betty Ford was THIS CLOSE to kicking her out before the deal was made to ship her off to Cliffside.
TMZ says — as hard as it is to believe — Tyler the Creator was right. Keyshawn Johnson can’t tell the difference between a black kid and a white kid. LA County Sheriff’s Deputies went to Justin’s home and checked out the video from Memorial Day — the day Keyshawn and other neighbors claimed Justin was driving his Ferrari like a maniac through their neighborhood, putting children’s lives at risk. Keyshawn says he followed that Ferrari back to Justin’s house and he saw Justin getting out of the driver’s seat and walking into the house. Actually, Keyshawn was right. He DID see that. But what he didn’t see happened in the 30 seconds before he arrived was this — the Ferrari pulls into the driveway with Tyler behind the wheel and Justin following him on his motorcycle. Tyler jumps out of the car and Justin jumps in, so he can make the tight maneuver into the garage. So there you go! At least THIS time, Justin wasn’t the one driving.
Amanda Bynes is now claiming that this whole public meltdown has been a publicity stunt. Yesterday she sent several texts to her friend, former publicist Jonathan Jaxson, and he — being a former publicist — OF COURSE has made these very public on his Twitter. She texted, “I got to 2 million followers and now everyone wants me. I am smart not stupid. Everyone mentions my name. The world loves me.” He responded by asking about the drugs and being “mentally wrong.” She answered, “All this has been an act and you know it! I am an actress and know what I am doing.”
Ted Dwane is the bassist for Mumford & Sons. The band has been touring and Ted had been feeling very sick. He finally went to the emergency room where doctors discovered a blood clot on his brain. He had to have surgery and the band decided to postpone several concerts rather than perform without him. Mumford & Sons posted on their Facebook page last night, “It is with great joy that we can announce that Ted has been discharged from the hospital and is on the road to a full recovery. The surgery went well, and the excellent medical team helping him are very pleased with his progress.” The band had said they hoped they wouldn’t have to cancel more than three shows, but doctors have recommended that Ted lay low for a while. So Mumford & Sons is canceling the remaining dates on their Summer Stampede Tour, which included a performance at Bonnaroo this weekend. They’re thanking fans for their compassion and support during this time.
