I only lasted 3 days. I broke up with my dog in terms of sleeping arrangements on Sunday night. We had a talk and I told him he is too disruptive and he isn’t going to sleep with me if he continues to wake pug_breakupme up exactly one hour before my alarm goes off at 3:30 am every morning. He has been handling it like the typical wuss that he is. No whining, no barking, but he’s been giving me the sad eyes. I was really cold and really lonely last night so I let him in. Big mistake. 1:30 am he jumped off and wanted to go to the couch. I’m really done now. It’s so funny how many chances you give when you love something. I need to start putting a limit on how many chances someone gets because right now it’s basically infinity. Maximus knows my willpower is weak and he’s taking advantage of me. He’s probably not the only one.

Holly and I are talking about taking a serious trip in the spring. Perhaps one of those, “trip of a lifetime” kinda trips. I just haven’t told her that I really only want to go somewhere with a direct flight. How about Mexico again? Mexico doesn’t get old to me. She threw out Thailand. That takes 27 hours to get to-not right now thanks. I don’t even like Pad Thai, what would I do? SO, we moved on to Rio. Still, that is a 15 hour fight-but they do have nude beaches which sounds like a lot of fun. She is emphatic that we go to another continent. I like the idea, but one week is hardly enough time to get to another continent. Where should we go? I am into the thought of Central America. Lots of options there. Or how about a place where the men are really attractive? I don’t have an answer for that other than Spain or Italy but those are out because she’s been there. We may just throw a bunch of options in a bad and have someone draw it. That could be kinda fun. Unless North Dakota sneaks in there. I have a feeling I am going to sway her into going to Turks and Caicos with some other girlfriends. I never thought I’d be the type to be taking so many girls trips at this age, but I actually really like it. Though I don’t put myself in this category, most of my friends are going to be married within the next few years and we all know girls trips don’t happen after that. Trips like these are my equivalent to a honeymoon that I likely will never have.
