I’m dealing with something I’ve never dealt with before when it comes to dating. The FaceTime dilemma. What is up with guys wanting to FaceTime? It’s funny because I used to plead with the last guy I sorta dated to FaceTime me on vacation. Mainly because he was so cute and I wanted to see him. But not surprisingly, he wasn’t into it. Now I have a guy who I started seeing last year and he is basically the opposite of the last guy I dated. He FaceTimed me last week because I think he’s testing the waters with me again. I don’t mind FaceTiming, it was more than I looked worse than I ever have in my life. I had just gotten home from boxing class and I looked liked a sweaty lobster. I’m assuming most girls like FaceTiming when we look somewhat attractive. This is also a guy that only dates hot girls. So I will admit there’s a little bit of pressure there. I don’t know why, but I just went ahead and answered it. Even better, and by better I mean worse for me but funny, he was with 3 other hot guys hanging out. I like to think my personality shines through at time like this:) What is the deal with the FaceTime? He is on the road all the time for his job, so maybe he is accustomed to talking with girls this way? I don’t know if I should have answered looking so bad. I think there should be a FaceTime rule that a text gets sent as a heads up to the impending FaceTime call right?
Boxing. Let’s discuss. Yes I’m really into boxing lately:) I’ve been 4 times now and I am still dying. I think this is the workout that I’ve been missing in my life. It’s been absolutely kicking my ass in the best way possible. I think ever since I stopped playing soccer, I’ve been lacking that competitive outlet. This isn’t competitive in the sense that I am competing against anyone else. It’s all about pushing yourself to the next level. I don’t weigh myself regularly. I don’t even have a goal to lose a ton of weight. I just want to be fit looking. I also like very hardcore workouts. I happened to have a physically recently, so that’s the only reason I know my weight. In just two weeks of boxing and working out I have lost 8 pounds. I haven’t even been dieting. I think this is something I am going to stick with for awhile. I’ll keep you posted on my progress.
