Jenna’s Blog: You better get active

I am no love expert, but if a guy wants to be active, you better get active. I know this makes me sound insane since I like to exercise, but why do I have a cringe reaction when a guy wants our Sunday date to be a run outside? I would say Sundays are my favorite if/when you are in a relationship because instead of Sunday blues spent alone, you get to do all the regular boring life stuff with someone. I have definitely gotten into a habit of using Sundays as my full relaxation days. No dog anymore, no commitments, no Sunday Fundays ie: partying, just a day of eating and watching football. When I get a text saying, “let’s go for a walk”. I literally groaned and slumped off my couch spot to start getting my life together.

walk-jenna-blogMy roommate caught me pumping myself up, “Jenna, you want to hang out and he wants to be active, so you go on that walk!” I think I’m just in super fat kid mode right now. I have still been working out, but I’ve been so tired and so into pie. You know when an off day turns into an off week and an off month? Don’t get me wrong, I got it together and I went on that walk and I liked it:) I quickly realized what a lazy lame person I would sound like saying, “Can’t we just lay on the couch and watch football?” I don’t know much about making a relationship work obviously, but I do know that if a guy wants to hang out and you bitch at him constantly about not spending enough time together, you better just hang out. Fat kid mentality aside, I actually quite enjoyed the walk:)
