Damar Hamlin was a special guest… Lizzo’s wax figure… Kylie Jenner creates balloon-filled party… Britney Spears calls out Alyssa Milano… and Jessica Simpson had secret romance with ‘massive movie star’

On January 2, the Buffalo Bills were taking on the Bengals in Cincinnati when Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field in cardiac arrest. On Jan. 22, he made his first public appearance at the two teams’ rematch, but Damar’s face was covered up and he didn’t speak to the press, which led conspiracy theorists to speculate this was a body double and NOT Damar. Since then, Damar posted videos on social media to announce he’s teamed up with the American Heart Association to promote CPR training. And Tuesday night, Damar was a special guest at a taping of “The Masked Singer,” and you can see the pictures on TMZ. Damar’s younger brother Damir is a big fan of the show, so he tagged along. Damar was wearing a hoodie and sweatpants from his Chasing Millions line, which benefits his Chasing M’s Foundation Charitable Fund. Sales of the “Did we win?” merch will go to first responders and the University of Cincinnati Trauma Center. “The Masked Singer” returns for Season 9 on Feb. 15.

Lizzo says this was “single-handedly one of the most terrifyingly meta moments” of her life. Lizzo now has her own wax figure on display at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas. She shared lots of photos and videos on her IG Story, Twitter and TikTok. She captioned one of the videos, “Introducing WAXXO,” and asked, “What would you do with 2 Lizzos?” In another video, she got really close to giving herself a kiss and then freaked out. Lizzo captioned it, “Now I know what a twosome with Lizzo is like” with a wide-eyed emoji. The wax version of Lizzo is wearing the dress she wore to the 2020 Grammys — a white Atelier Versace dress with hand-embroidered Swarovski crystals. That night, she won 3 Grammys: best contemporary album for “Cuz I Love You,” best pop solo performance for “Truth Hurts,” and best traditional R&B performance for “Jerome.”

Stormi Webster turned 5 yesterday, and like every year before, mama Kylie Jenner spared no expense. Some estimates put the party north of $100K. In addition to arts and crafts stations, balloons galore, a fantastical cake and swag that featured custom hoodies, Kylie brought back the theme from Stormi’s first birthday party. To enter, you had to walk through the mouth of Stormi’ giant, inflatable head, modeled after her dad Travis Scott’s giant, inflatable head from Astroworld. Kylie also ordered a Stormiworld inflatable slide for the party. Travis is still dealing with lawsuits from the families of the 10 people who were killed and thousands of other injured during his Astroworld concert in Houston on Nov. 5, 2021.

Back in December, Alyssa Milano tweeted, Someone please go check on Britney Spears.” I don’t know if Britney just saw this or if she’s been stewing about it for a couple months, but yesterday Britney posted Alyssa’s tweet on her IG Story and captioned it, “It saddens me to see things about me from people who don’t know me!!! This definitely feels like a form of bullying!!! Ladies, we are supposed to be rooting for one another, not pulling one another down!!!” Sources say Alyssa sent Britney a private message yesterday to apologize. We don’t know exactly what Alyssa said, or if Britney has even seen it.

Jessica Simpson revealed a lot in her memoir Open Book, but she left out one especially juicy story from her past. Yesterday Jessica just published a short story called “Movie Star: They Always Say They’re Single.” Jessica writes about having a secret love affair with a huge movie star, but never reveals who it is. She says they first met at the 2001 MTV MVAs, which Jessica was 21 and married to Nick Lachey. She writes, “This megastar, who I grew up thinking was so hot, eyeballed me up and down. Like he was undressing me with his eyes.” Nothing happened that night, but after Nick and Jess divorced, she and this “megastar” reconnected in 2006 and ended up making out at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Jessica said she later learned he had a girlfriend, but he wooed her into staying by telling her, “You’re the only girl I want to be with. You’re it.” Jessica would sneak into hotels to see “megastar” admitting, “Yes, there was something sexy and enticing about all this, but there was also something demeaning about it. I felt like a call girl.” Then one day, she writes about how he came back from filming and they started making out when he suddenly “just blurted out: ‘Why aren’t we having sex?’” Jessica then realized that all the hiding they’d been doing wasn’t to keep their relationship out of the public eye, it was to hide her from his girlfriend. She writes, “I didn’t care if he was my teenage fantasy come to life, this was not a choice that same girl, my younger self, would be proud of.” Jessica left the next day, and she says he called her weeping and begging her to come back. She didn’t.
