When Amanda Bynes said she was working on a rap record, she wasn’t hallucinating. Not only did Chinga Chang Records recently offer her a record deal, but RadarOnline.com is reporting that she met with Wyclef Jean at a recording studio last night. The location was kept a secret. But a source says Wyclef is familiar with Amanda’s talent and sound and wants to collaborate with her.
A source told “People” magazine that there’s a really good reason Kim Kardashian and Kanye West haven’t released their baby girl’s name yet. She doesn’t have one. In the past, Kim has said the name would likely begin with a “K” and we’ve heard that the middle name is Donda in honor of Kanye’s late mother. But so far, Kim and Kanye can’t settle on the perfect first name.
Melissa Etheridge is a breast cancer survivor, and she gave an interview to the “Washington Blade” that might cause a bit of controversy. She said that Angelina Jolie’s decision to have a double mastectomy to prevent cancer was “the most fearful choice you can make when confronting anything with cancer.” Melissa said, “Plenty of people have the gene mutation and everything but it never comes to cancer…” She says women should consider the advancements made with nutrition and stress levels first and put a double mastectomy way down at the bottom of the list of option
Fans at her concert in Birmingham, England, last night were very upset that Rihanna kept them waiting for two and a half hours. But perhaps she was still recovering from partying with Cara Delevingne until 3am the night before. Maybe she’s just over this whole touring thing. Critics at Rihanna’s show Saturday night were saying that she seemed bored during her performance. One wrote, “Rihanna wasn’t the most vigorous performer, and she looked dead-eyed…Rihanna deserves a break and so do we.”
A paparazzo accused Justin Bieber of hit and run. Justin and his lil’ leach, Lil Twist, were leaving the Laugh Factory late last night when they were swarmed by paparazzi. As Justin was pulling away in his white Ferrari, he motioned for the photographers to get out of the way and it looked like one of them was pinned between the Ferrari and a parked car. Justin drove off, but the paparazzi claimed his legs were hurt and went to the hospital. But the police interviewed Justin as well as witnesses who saw this whole thing go down, and they say this was not a case of hit and run. The photographer was at fault for being in the roadway.
