Khloe and Lamar’s reunion. Prince Harry’s lawsuit against The Sun. Chappell Roan, the “spoiled diva.” This and EVEN MORE!

If you didn’t know, Tim McGraw’s dad Tug McGraw was a major league baseball player who pitched for the Mets and the Phillies. In a full-circle moment, Tim will headline the first-ever, all-day concert event at the legendary Field of Dreams field in Dyersville, Iowa. Coincidentally, the concert is set to take place on Aug. 30, which would’ve been Tug’s 81st birthday.

In the trailer for the upcoming season of The Kardashians, they tease a reunion between Khloe and her ex-husband Lamar Odom. While appearing on Australia’s The Kyle & Jackie O Show, Lamar revealed what that was about. He said he was in Vegas for Super Bowl weekend when he bumped into Khloe’s BFF Malika Haqq who said, “You know Lamar, I think it’s time for you and Khloé, it’s been years. You haven’t seen her, if you’re up for it, I think I could make it happen.’” On the appointed day, Lamar showed up at Khloe’s home with a bouquet of roses only to find a camera crew waiting to film it all. He was caught off guard, but said he understood it. For the longest time, all Lamar wanted was to get back together with Khloe, but he told Kyle and Jackie O that at this point, “it would be a blessing to be her friend.”

At long last, the lawsuit Prince Harry filed against the publisher of The Sun newspaper kicked off at the High Court in London today. Prince Harry wasn’t there for opening arguments today, but the trial is set to last around 6 to 8 weeks and eventually he will take the witness stand. Prince Harry is suing News Group Newspapers over accusations that from 1996-2011, journalists and private investigators working for The Sun and The News of the World would hack phones and unlawfully gather information about high profile people, including celebrities and Royals. When they were caught, NGN apologized to victims of the hacking that took place at The News of the World and shut the paper down. They also settled cases with about 40 victims, including Hugh Grant and Sienna Miller, paying out over $1.5B in damages. The Sun, however, is still going strong. And now, all these years later, Prince Harry is the only one still suing.

2024 was the year of Chappell Roan. Her debut album peaked at No. 2; she was named Billboard’s Top New Artist; she’s nominated for six Grammys. But Chappell told the BBC, “I think, actually, I’d be more successful if I was okay wearing a muzzle.” Chappell says her decision to set clear boundaries when it came to her fans’ “predatory behavior” led to her being labeled a spoiled diva throwing tempter tantrums. But Chappell explained, “I’ve been responding that way to disrespect my whole life — but now there are cameras on me, and I also happen to be a pop star, and those things don’t match. It’s like oil and water.” Chappell said if she were to override her instincts to speak up, “I would be way bigger … And I would still be on tour right now.” Back in the fall, Chappell decided not to extend her tour to focus instead on her physical and mental health.

Justin and Hailey Bieber have been vacationing together in Aspen for the past week or so. Over the weekend, Justin Bieber posted Instagram Stories gushing over his wife, calling her “the greatest woman I have and will ever know.” But early this morning, Justin unfollowed Hailey on Instagram, and we were left wondering why. We surmised that after Justin posted photos of himself sucking on a bong yesterday, they got into a huge fight about it last night which led to the unfollow this morning. But about an hour after the unfollow was picked up by the press, Justin hopped on his Instagram Story and posted, “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife. S*** is getting suss out here.” Are we buying it? Or did he just calm down.
