Super Bowl commercials (and teasers). Morgan Wallen album news. A new Star Wars movie?! Kanye West loses a bunch of money. Recap of day 1 in court for Lively/Baldoni lawyers.

It used to be so much fun to see the Super Bowl commercials because they were complete surprises, filled with celebrity cameos and hilarious bits. But now, half the commercials are already airing. You can also go to YouTube and search “big game commercials 2025” and get everything from Super Bowl commercial teases to full-blown spots. Spots for this year’s game reportedly sold out back in November at a rate of $7M per 30-second commercial. Anheuser-Busch will air 5 different ads, one of them being 60 seconds. For the first time, Ritz and Duracell are stepping into the arena, but they’re keeping their spots a surprise. Here are some that are already being spoiled or teased:

1.  Coors Light is ditching celebrities in favor of sloths, because who doesn’t love sloths?

2. Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Ludacris prove you can’t be fast OR furious when you’re enjoying Haagen-Dazs ice cream.

3. Kris Jenner scolds Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pratt in Meta’s commercial for their new AI glasses.

4. Antonio Banderas helps Macho Man Randy Savage open a jar of pickles in a tease for Bosch USA.

5. The Taco Bell commercial featuring Doja Cat is being billed as a Super Bowl commercial, but it’s been airing for at least a couple weeks.

6. Tom Brady plus Ben Affleck minus Jennifer Lopez plus Casey Affleck are back as the DunKings Dunkin’ Donuts spot

7. Fan Duel’s Kick of Destiny 3 with Manning vs. Manning, Peyton vs. Eli, will play out live. Who will make the field goal? Fan Duel hopes you’ll place your bet.  In Kick of Destiny 1 Rob Gronkowski missed the filed goal. Gronk was back for Kick of Destiny 2, but this time, fans got to choose whether or not he’d make it. He missed.

8. Patriots owner Robert Kraft produced a powerful ad through his Foundation to Combat Antisemitism.  It stars Snoop Dogg and Tom Brady.

9. Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal recreate THAT restaurant scene from When Harry Met Sally for Hellmann’s mayo

10. And regarding the Doritos Crash the Super Bowl contest, KiddNation did all we could to help Mark and his son Xander’s Charades commercial win that million dollars, but the Alien Abduction video came out on top.

Still no word on when Morgan Wallen’s new album I’m the Problem will drop, but he posted a photo on his IG Stories suggesting it’ll be another double album. 2021’s Dangerous: The Double Album featured 30 tracks. 2023’s One Thing at a Time had 36. Morgan posted a black-and-white photo of him standing in front of a giant white board with the potential track list for his next album. All the titles are blurred out except for the two already-released singles I’m the Problem and Love Somebody. It looks like there are a total of 37 songs on that board, so all signs point to a third double album.

There was speculation this wasn’t going to happen, but it looks like Daisy Ridley’s upcoming Star Wars movie is back on track. This thing was first announced way back in April 2023, but it’s been crickets until now. Tentatively titled New Jedi Order, the movie will be set 15 years after 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker, with Rey now mentoring new Jedis. In other Star Wars news, Ryan Gosling is in negotiations to star in the upcoming Shawn Levy-directed entry to the franchise. We literally have no details other than this standalone movie will be connected to the Luke Skywalker saga. If all goes well, the movie could go into production this fall. As far as The Mandalorian & Grogu, filming wrapped in mid-December, but we have to wait until May 22, 2026 to see it.

Bianca Censori won’t get into trouble for getting naked on the Grammys red carpet, but there are consequences for that stunt. Kanye lost a $20 million deal for two concerts he was booked to play in Japan.  Japanese investors withdrew their support, citing cultural concerns and the country’s growing awareness of women’s rights. Kanye has lived in Tokyo for almost a year now, but used his visit back to the States to make a statement. Kanye was seen instructing Bianca to drop her coat, and he’s getting a lot of criticism for the apparent mind control he has over his wife. Plus, it was just inappropriate, especially given that the focus of this year’s ceremony was to raise money for LA wildfire victims.

Yesterday in court, attorneys for Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds and Justin Baldoni tried to hash out a few things. First, Team Lively wanted Justin’s attorney Bryan Freedman slapped with a gag order. That didn’t happen, but Bryan did say he would adhere to rules of decorum. Freedman also amended Justin’s $400M defamation lawsuit against Blake, accusing her of leaking information to The New York Times. Freedman is also seeking to have the trial date moved up from March 9, 2026, arguing that Justin is suffering financially and emotionally, so let’s not drag this out unnecessarily. Meantime, Team Lively attorney Michael Gottlieb told the judge he plans to seek a protective order to shield Blake and Ryan’s celebrity friends (i.e., Taylor Swift)  from getting dragged into this mess. Gottlieb also told the court he will be adding “both claims and parties” to a revised complaint, that will be filed by Valentine’s Day.
