Anderson Cooper gets married?…Mary J. Blige is in trouble with Uncle Sam…Justin Bieber “booed” at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards…all in the midst of the latest Kristen Stewart and R-Patz break-up!
Amy Pohler returned to do one last “Weekend Update” with Seth Meyers. Bill Hader and Fred Armisen performed their goodbye sketches on “Saturday Night Live.” The sketch of the night has to go to Bill Hader as Stefon, who ended up marrying Anderson Cooper while surrounded by all the characters Stefon has described over the past four seasons. Ben Affleck hosted, but everybody was way more interested in the musical guest, Kanye West. He performed two tracks off his upcoming CD, “Yeezus,” which is due out June 18. The titles alone might give you an indication of what direction Kanye’s CD is taking — “New Slaves” and “Black Skinhead.”
The IRS has sent Mary J. Blige a bill for $3.4 million. That’s on top of the $900K in back taxes she owes the state of New Jersey. The IRS says Mary J. failed to pay all of her income taxes from 2009 to 2011. Also, Mary J. is being sued for allegedly defaulting on a $2.2 million bank loan, while her charity is facing a lawsuit that claims it took out a $250K loan that was never repaid.
The Billboard Music Awards actually had a lot of exciting moments last night. Miguel was performing his song “Adorn” and as he was jumping from one stage to another, his drop-crotch pants caught a fan right in the face, slamming her head backward into the stage and bashing another fan’s arm. Afterward, he was backstage with one of the women, who was holding an icepack on her arm. I can’t WAIT for the other woman to surface with her neck brace and accompanying lawsuit. A lot less of Christina Aguilera performed with Pitbull. She’s lost a lot of weight working out with different trainers at her home. Justin Bieber was booed when he accepted the first ever Milestone Award. But he told the crowd that he’s an artist who should be taken seriously and “all this other bull should not be spoken of.” Justin also won the “Top Male Artist” award. Taylor Swift lost the Milestone to Justin, but she took home “Artist of the Year.” She thanked her fans, saying they’re the longest and best relationship she’s ever had.
Kim Kardashian’s baby shower is scheduled for June 2 and the invitations have been sent out! Based upon the invites, I’m thinking it’s pretty safe to assume she’s having a girl. Of course, for Kim Kardashian, a plain paper invitation won’t do. Guests received a wind-up music box with a twirling ballerina inside. But then again the baby daddy is Kanye West, so there is a chance that the twirling ballerina wasn’t female. Hmmmmm…And in other baby news, on Friday E! said they had multiple sources confirming that Beyonce is pregnant with her second child. Beyonce was NOT happy with the speculation, posting on her Instagram, “I can’t stop the rumors from starting, and I can’t really change peoples minds who believe them, all I can do is sit back and laugh at the low life people who have nothing better to do than talk about me.” She later deleted the comment. But on stage that night in Zurich, a couple of her dancers came out on stage with TWO baby carriages. Was that her way of letting us know on her terms?
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have broken up again, but their friends don’t think it’s for good. Kristen planned this huge party to celebrate Robert’s 27th birthday on May 13, but they had a very heated argument and he ended up canceling the big party. He chose to spend his birthday hanging out at the house with a few buddies — no Kristen in sight. RadarOnline.com reported that Kristen has been holed up in her home ever since her fight with Robert. She’s surrounded herself with friends, 24/7, because she’s freaking 23 and that’s what 23-year-old girls do.
