Page Six is reporting that NBC is about to offer Pippa Middleton a correspondent gig on “Today.” Her interview with Matt Lauer back in June was a big hit in the ratings, so why not capitalize on it? Sources say they sent Pippa out to Utah for a test shoot and if it works out well, they’ll hire her as a correspondent.

Benedict Cumberbatch is getting married, but he and his fiancee didn’t use a publicist to make the announcement on their behalf. They followed that lovely tradition of making the announcement in the newspaper! Right there in the pages of “The Times,” it said, “The engagement is announced between Benedict, son of Wanda and Timothy Cumberbatch of London, and Sophie, daughter of Katherine Hunter of Edinburgh and Charles Hunter of London.” No date was given for the wedding. Benedict and Sophie met in 2009 when he was making a movie called “Burlesque Fairytales.”

Celebrity baby news!! Robert Downey Jr. and his wife, Susan have welcomed a baby girl! No name has been released yet. Their son, Exton, is now 2½, and Robert has 21-year-old son Indio from a previous marriage. And Kelly Rowland has delivered a baby boy. She and her husband, Tim Witherspoon, are proud to announce the birth of Titan Jewell Witherspoon. Kelly said Tim picked out the name and that it has to do with family.

Amanda Bynes is back and forth on Twitter. Monday night she tweeted that she was bipolar and manic-depressive but said that she was taking her medication. She tweeted, “My lawyer said if I comply with the courts and take my meds and see my psychologist and psychiatrist weekly then I will get unconserved.”

It’s not bad enough that Mama June has gone back to the man who served 10 years for molesting her oldest daughter, Chickadee, when she was only 8. THIS is going to get your blood boiling. Chickadee — who is now 20 years old — says her mama has emptied out her trust fund. Chickadee had been saving the money she earned from “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” and said there was more than $30K in there. But when she checked the account recently, all that was left was $17.90. She believes Mama June emptied that account and used the money to buy a car for the man who molested her — Mark McDaniel.
