Tim McGraw & Faith Hill’s private island… Ed Sheeran gave fans the biggest gift… Rihanna’s Savage valued at $1 Billion… Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker confirm relationship… and Meghan Markle & Prince Harry are expecting baby no. 2!Listen to “Showbiz – Feb 19, 2021” on Spreaker.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have owned their own private island in the Bahamas since 2003, but they’ve decided it’s time to let it go. Tim and Faith have listed the 20-acre island known as Goat Cay for $35M. It comes with a 6517-square-foot main house with 4 BR/5BA, an observation tower and a grass-covered internal courtyard. It’s all connected by almost 5000-square-feet of covered verandas and passageways. In addition to all that, the island has 6000-square-feet of staff housing along with engineering and mechanical facilities.
Ed Sheeran turned 30 this past Wednesday and to mark the occasion, he teased us with some music news. Ed posted a picture of himself dressed up as a pirate on his 3rd birthday. His caption thanked fans for the birthday wishes and ended by saying, “I’ll be back online with the 4th installment in the series later this year, until then xx.” No date or title for the new album, but the previous three were all math signs, “+,” “x” and “÷.” So….will the next album be “-“? “=”? “%”?
Last week, we told you that Rihanna’s “Fenty” line was “put on hold” because sales were in the toilet. But don’t feel sorry for Ri-Ri because this week, “Forbes” reported that her “Savage X Fenty” lingerie brand is now worth $1 billion. This happened really quickly. She just launched the company 3 years ago! Forbes says “Savage X Fenty” is expected to be “the global lingerie market leader by 2025.” However, Rihanna is dealing with some backlash for a recent picture she posted to advertise her lingerie. She’s topless except for a necklace of the Hindu god Ganesha — an elephant-headed Hindu god with a pot-bellied human body. Ganesha is considered “a supreme being powerful enough to remove obstacles and ensure success.” Many Hindus expressed they’re not happy with Rihanna for using their religion as an aesthetic to sell sexy lingerie while she’s half naked.
RELATIONSHIP ROUNDUP!!! Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles have taken their relationship to the next level. On Valentine’s Day, she was seen moving her things out of her ex-fiancé Jason Sudeikis’ house in LA and into Harry’s house. Valentine’s Day was also the perfect time for sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner to go Instagram official with their men. Kourtney posted a picture of her holding hands with a tatted-up hand that obviously belongs to Travis Barker. Kendall posted a photo of a guy with his head buried in her chest, but it’s obviously NBA player Devin Booker. Machine Gun Kelly revealed that he wears a necklace with Megan Fox’s blood in it. We all know how that worked out for Angelina and Billy Bob……They say the third time is the charm, but hopefully that is not the case for Paris Hilton, who just announced she is engaged for the FOURTH time. Venture capitalist Carter Reum proposed on the beach of a private island surrounded by Paris’ family. She probably thought they were there to celebrate her birthday because Paris just turned 40 on Wednesday. And it was pretty shocking to see former Bachelorette Clare Crawley holding hands with Dale Moss in Venice, Florida, this week! Dale went on Instagram last month to announce they’d ended their engagement on good terms, but later Clare let us know that it was anything but good.
A couple of big announcements from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. First, they’re expecting another baby! On Valentine’s Day, they shared a black-and-white photo reminiscent of Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts in “Notting Hill,” with Meghan’s head resting in Harry’s lap while she cradles her belly. Meghan appears to be quite far along and sources say she’s due at the end of spring. And the second huge announcement came from Buckingham Palace this morning. Harry and Meghan will no longer serve as working members of the Royal family. Remember the whole Megxit mess a year ago? At the time, the Queen agreed to a 12-month trial period, certainly hoping Harry would change his mind and come home. He didn’t. The statement said, “While all are saddened by their decision, The Duke and Duchess remain much loved members of the family.”
