Tim Burton’s new Disney movie is a black and white, 3-D stop-motion animated movie about a boy who uses science to resurrect his dead dog Sparky . . . kind of like the original “Frankenstein”. It has the voices of Winona Ryder, Martin Landau, Martin Short, Catherine O’Hara. . . . and watch out for an appearance by the legendary Christopher Lee as Dracula.

This time it’s his wife who’s taken . . . because the kidnappers want revenge for all the guys he killed while rescuing his daughter in the first movie. Maggie Grace from “Lost” plays his daughter, and Famke Janssen from the “X-Men” movies plays her kidnapped mother.

Anna Kendrick revamps a college a capella group so they can compete against their male rivals. It also stars Brittany Snow and the succulent Rebel Wilson.
