CinemaCon is happening in Vegas and yesterday Sony Pictures announced another we’re getting a “Venom 3” and a sequel to “Ghostbusters: Afterlife.” We kinda figured the Venom thing with the post-credits scene in “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” SPOILER ALERT!!! Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock says he’s going to head to NYC to give Peter Parker a visit. Sony didn’t release any details as far along they are into producing these sequels or when we can expect them. Sony also announced they’re expanding the Marvel Universe with “El Muerto,” starring Bad Bunny! It’s set to be released on Jan. 12, 2024.

They surprised us with news they were engaged, but then we heard Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers broke up. But then surprise! They seemed to be making an attempt at getting back together. She wasn’t wearing her engagement ring, but they were spending a lot of time together. But now? It looks like Shailene and Aaron are done for good. There were rumors that trouble initially started in their relationship when Aaron vocally opposed the COVID vaccine. A source told People that while it’s true that they did disagree on a lot of things, “early on, they decided to agree to disagree about things and not debate them.” However a source told E!, “Shailene tried to give it another shot and was spending time with Aaron, but she quickly saw that everything was on his terms and nothing was going to change. There was no reason to continue and she’s done with it again.”

Season 5 of “Selling Sunset” dropped on Netflix on April 22. For the first time ever, they’re doing a reunion show! It was filmed this past Sunday and will air on May 5. Since Andy Cohen has nothing to do with this, Queer Eye’s Tan France is hosting. Netflix released a photo from the reunion. Who WAS there? Jason and Brett Oppenheim — Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald and her husband Romain Bonnet, Heather Rae Young — now Mrs. El Moussa, Maya Vander, Davina Potratz, Vanessa Villa, Emma Hernan and newest realtor Chelsea Lazkani. Two people were missing from the picture — Christine Quinn and Amanza Smith. Both tested positive for Covid. However, Amanza appeared virtually. Christine did not. She skipped the reunion altogether. Right before the new season dropped this past Friday, Christine tweeted, “30 minutes till the launch of #SellingSunset 🥰🥰enjoy the new season and all of its 5,000 fake storylines! 💰 💅”

It was Kylie Jenner’s turn to take the witness stand in Blac Chyna’s lawsuit against her family over the cancellation of her reality show with Rob Kardashian. When Kylie was asked whether she thought Chyna really loved Rob or if it was fake, Kylie testified, “I just felt maybe me dating the father of her child had something to do with it.” Then she was then asked if she thought Chyna was dating Rob out of spite, and Kylie said, “Maybe.” Chyna was with Tyga when he left her for Kylie. Chyna’s lawyer asked Kylie about her relationship with Chyna. Kylie tested that she never considered her to be a close friend. She did say that Tyga once showed her a 6-inch long scar on his arm, and claimed that Chyna had cut him. Kylie also said Tyga told her that Chyna abused drugs and alcohol, which is what led to the knife attack. Kylie testified that she told Rob about her concerns over Chyna, but he said he was going to keep dating her anyway. So far, Kris Jenner and Kylie have taken the stand. We’re not sure when it will be Khloe and Kim’s turns, but Kim is in DC with Pete Davidson right now. They’re reportedly going to the White House Correspondents Dinner on April 30.

In his final statement on the stand yesterday Johnny Depp testified that he is the victim of domestic abuse, not Amber Heard. A conversation recorded between the two of them in mid-2016 was played in court. The two of them are arguing over what went wrong in their marriage. Johnny said at one point, “The abuse thing, we gotta deal with that.” Amber responds, “You forced me to by going on the offense.” There’s also a clip where Amber taunts Johnny, saying nobody would ever believe him if he told people she abused him. She said, “Tell them, I, Johnny Depp, I’m a victim of domestic abuse … and see how many people believe or side with you.”
