Despite rumors that it was moving to NYC, Coachella is remaining in Indio, CA, and it’s happening this year on the weekends of April 15-17 and 22-24. The full lineup was announced yesterday. Among those playing both Fridays are LCD Soundsystem, Ellie Goulding and The Kills. Axl Rose and Slash are together again as Guns N’ Roses reunites and headlines both Saturdays. Other performers that day include Ice Cube, Zedd, Halsey and A$AP Rocky. And performers on both Sundays include Calvin Harris — the first EDM artist to headline the festival, by the way — The 1975, Sia, Major Lazer, Chainsmokers and Chris Stapleton. I wonder if Justin Timberlake will join him for a surprise performance…….
Over Christmas, I got the email (and several text messages) that the 2016 leg of Janet Jackson’s concert tour — which was supposed to kick off this Saturday — was being postponed until the spring. Janet herself posted that it was due to an upcoming surgery and she asked for prayers “during this difficult time” and added, “There will be no further comment.” Now RadarOnline.com is reporting that this is super serious. A source told them that Janet has a tumor on her vocal cords and that it has to be taken care of immediately. A doctor who is not treating Janet told Radar, “God forbid that this should be cancer of the larynx. That would abruptly end her ability to ever perform again.”
E! News says they know for sure that Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are living together and talking marriage. A source told them, “Now that her tour is over, they are living together at his house in Beverly Hills while she is having some work done on her new home.” The source says Taylor was staying with Calvin between tour dates, too, but now she’s back for the long haul.
Despite rumors late last year that these two were headed for marriage, Leonardo DiCaprio grew tired of another model and dumped Kelly Rohrbach. Leo spent the holidays partying with girls in bikinis on a yacht in St. Barts. But Kelly doesn’t have time to worry about that. It was just announced yesterday that Kelly has been hired to take on the role that made Pamela Anderson a household name. She will be playing C.J. Parker in the new “Baywatch” movie starring Dwayne Johnson.
This 14-year-old aspiring model and singer named Molly O’Malia sat next to her lawyer Gloria Allred yesterday for a press conference to give her side of the story to an OK! Magazine cover story that insinuated that her relationship with Tyga is what temporarily broke up him and Kylie Jenner. Molly wants us all to know that Tyga contacted her out of the blue with a DM on Instagram. She thought at first that he might be interested in her music, but he didn’t mention it in that first message. Or the next. She says she started to get uncomfortable when he asked her to FaceTime with him over and over again, so she stopped communicating with him altogether. Next thing she knows, her blurred-out face is on the cover of a magazine and she’s being accused of being inappropriate.
