Fergie and Meghan Trainor were rumored to be battling out for a judge’s seat on the new FOX singing competition show, “The Four.” It looked like Fergie lost that battle when it was announced Meghan will be judging alongside Diddy, DJ Khalid and music producer Charlie Walk. But Fergie is NOT a loser. While she won’t get to be a judge, she gets to be the host! “The Four” premieres January 4.
Can MTV breathe new life into the Jersey Shore or are they beating a dead horse? Yes, MTV is bringing back Gym Tan Laundry for 2018, only this time, Deena, Ronnie, Vinnie, Pauly D, JWOWW, Snookie and The Situation are bringing their husbands, wives and babies. The only name missing from the lineup is Sammi Sweetheart, but maybe that will change.
Everything is going Jennifer Lopez’s way right now. She’s in love with Alex Rodriguez…she has a fabulous Vegas show…and now she is the newest face of Guess Jeans! This is a history making moment for JLo, who — at 48 — is now the oldest Guess Girl in the brand’s history. Jennifer said when she got the call from Paul Marciano asking her to do it, she was thrilled. Well, duh! That whole pinup girl thing just looks so fun. I told you to act quickly if you wanted to snatch up whatever Meghan Markle wore to announce her engagement to Prince Harry! That white coat she wore sold out in just a few minutes. It’s this small Canadian brand called Line the Label and since they had no heads-up that Meghan was going to walk out in their coat, they didn’t have a lot in stock. Plus, they’re all hand made! And $750 a pop!! The owner of the company says Meghan loves the coat so much that she has it in every color they offer. And yes, they will restock the coat as quickly as they can, only they’re renaming it The Meghan. The hunter green dress she wore underneath is by an Italian brand P.A.R.O.S.H. Again, it’s gone. Meghan didn’t tell them, either. They’re restocking their almost $600 dress ASAP, but they’re still toying with the idea of renaming the dress after her. And the shoes are also gone. Aquazzura’s Matilde crisscross suede pump in nude originally retailed for $695.
CBS will broadcast the 2018 Grammy Awards live from Madison Square Garden on January 28. It’s the first time the Grammys has been back in NYC since 2003! It’s been in LA for the past 14 years. They brought in James Corden to take over for LL Cool J last year and he did such a great job, they invited him back to host again this year. Up for Album of the Year are Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic,” Lorde’s “Melodrama,” Kendrick Lamar’s “DAMN,” Jay Z’s “4:44,” and Childish Gambino’s “Awaken, My Love!” Song of the Year nominees are Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like,” Logic’s “1-800-273-8255,” Julia Michaels’ “Issues,” Jay Z’s “4:44,” and Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito.” Best New Artist nominees are Alessia Cara, Khalid, Lil Uzi Vert, Julia Michaels and SZA.
