A couple of congressman have been proposing legislation that would put more restrictions on online ticket sellers since 2009, but so far, Ticketmaster has escaped any real federal oversight. But the Eras Tour fiasco was so monumental, it looks like we’ll finally see some real changes. Congressmen Bill Pascrell Jr. and Frank Pallone Jr. have co-sponsored a bill called the “Boss and Swift Act,” named after Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift. So how did Bruce get brought into this? Apparently, his fans also had issues buying tickets to his concerts last year. Some of them paid as much as $5000 because of what Ticketmaster justified as “dynamic pricing.” The Boss and Swift Act would require all-in pricing that discloses the true cost of a ticket, including fees. It would also mandate full disclosure of refund policies and whether or not a ticket is new or being re-sold. It also demands full transparency about the total number of tickets available, protect the right of consumers to transfer tickets, and also forbid restrictions placed on fans who re-sell them. Introducing the bill is the first step in a long process. We’ll keep you posted on the progress.

Some Taylor Swift fans who’ve seen her on the Eras Tour are suffering from a rare phenomenon — concert amnesia. Many of them simply can’t remember parts of what they saw, from the small details to significant parts. Some say they’re also experiencing feelings of guilt after waiting so long to see Taylor and then walking away without any memory of it. A professor of psychology at State University of New York in Albany told “Time” magazine that this type of amnesia may be the result of experiencing a little too much excitement. He explained that it’s not a “concert-specific phenomenon” and can happen any time you’re in a highly emotional state. That’s because when you get excited, the body’s stress levels increase, which in turn causes neurons associated with memory to start firing off indiscriminately. That makes forming new memories difficult.

This live-action remake stuff is really catching on. Universal has announced they’re producing a live-action adaptation of DreamWorks Animation’s “How to Train Your Dragon.” The original 2010 movie was about the friendship between a Viking boy named Hiccup who became friends with a dragon named Toothless. Mason Thames has been cast as Hiccup and Nico Parker as Astrid, his love interest. It’s expected to hit theaters in March 2025. If you’re not familiar, you may have seen Mason in his breakout role opposite Ethan Hawke in “The Black Phone.” And you may know Nico as Sarah Miller from Season 1 of “The Last of Us.”

Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Brady were hanging out on a yacht in Italy. They were guests at the massive wedding of billionaire art heir Joe Nahmad and model Madison Headrick, which reportedly cost around $13M. It turns out Leo and Tom have several connections that led to the being invited to this wedding, most notably Gisele Bundchen. Leo and Gisele dated for 5 years, but broke up when Gisele was ready to settle down. The next year, she was set up with Tom and they went on to marry, have two kids together, and divorce. But back in 2010, Giselle was rumored to have had a brief fling with the groom’s brother Helly, who happens to be friends with both Tom and Leo. (Side note: In 2014, Helly was sentenced to a year in prison for running a $100M gambling ring, which included celebrity gamblers Toby Maguire, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.) So Gisele’s exes Leo and Tom were guests at this wedding; Gisele was not. But if Tom is single and ready to mingle, how odd would it be that his running buddy is now Leo?

Earlier this month, our mouths fell open when we found out 79-year-old Robert DeNiro had fathered his seventh child with his 45-year-old girlfriend Tiffany Chen. Now we’re picking our jaws up off the floor after hearing news that Robert’s good friend Al Pacino is expecting his fourth child. Al is 83 and the mommy-to-be is his 29-year-old girlfriend, producer Noor Alfallah, who is already 8 months along. Al has three full-grown children with two of his ex-girlfriends — a 33-year-old daughter with talent coach Jan Tarrant and 22-year-old twins, a boy and a girl, with actress Beverly D’Angelo.
