A$AP Rocky Took The Stand To Defend Himself

Stassi Schroeder & Beau Clark are engaged… Travis Barker’s claim… Justin Bieber is about to drop some new music… Jury to find what Katy Perry owes… and A$AP Rocky took the stand to defend himself in his assault trial

“Vanderpump Rules” fans have another wedding to look forward to! Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark are engaged. She posted a photo on IG with a less-than-romantic engagement photo pose and captioned it, “OMG. I feel like Meghan Markle.” When the show first started, Stassi was dating Jax Taylor. The two of them dated off and on for the first two seasons and Jax cheated on her multiple times, including with her best friend Kristen Doute. They somehow managed to become friends and Jax went on to marry Brittany Cartwright, who forgave him for cheating on her, too.

Blink 182’s Travis Barker and his 13-year-old daughter Alabama are calling out the 20-year-old drummer for Echosmith for being a creepy child predator. Alabama went on Instagram to post messages she received from Graham Sierota, who first started contacting Alabama in 2016, when she was only 10. Screenshots showed Graham saying “hi” to Alabama twice and when she didn’t respond, he messaged her, “By the way I’m Graham from Echosmith and I think ur beautiful.” Recently, he sent Alabama an evite to a barbecue. She responded nine days later, saying: ‘Ur like 40.” Two hours later he wrote back, “I just wanted to say I really like your music and sorry for messaging and I’m 20.” And she responded, “Ok but u understand I’m a child?” So she decided enough was enough and posted a screenshot of the messages to her Instagram followers. She wrote: ‘Hey guys! So once again I am bringing this to your attention because I’m a 13 year old girl and he is 21 / 20 super creepy.” Travis told The Blast, “When I found out a 20 year old man was trying to get in touch with my 13 year old daughter by filling her Instagram messages with party invites and compliments I was disgusted…That’s predatory behavior and there is nothing cool, normal or OK about it at all.” Graham told Just Jared that he didn’t realize Alabama was so young and when she told him, he said he apologized to her. He said, “I’m really sorry and feel very badly about this. I didn’t realize she was a minor and assumed she was my age. I made a careless mistake and this is a big lesson for me. I would like to apologize again to Alabama, her dad Travis, and her family.”

Justin Bieber is about to drop some new music with Kanye. He teased us with some Instagram photos, first showing the two of them squatting down on what looks like the set of a music video set. Justin captioned it, “Every where that I go it’s a light show I’m surrounded bust down bust down bust down bust down bust down bish I’m drownin.” I have since learned that this is a quote from A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s “Drowning.” The second photo shows Justin and Kanye now squatting with a third person. He captioned this one, “It’s lit,” to which Scooter Braun commented, “RAY ROM!” I have since learned that this is shorthand for a music producer and songwriter named Ray Romulus.

Katy Perry and everyone behind her hit song “Dark Horse” were found guilty of ripping off it’s main beat from a Christian rap song called “Joyful Noise.” Now it’s up to a jury to decide how much the guys behind “Joyful Noise” should be paid. During testimony this week, it was revealed that Capitol Records received more than $31 million for the sing, the album and concert DVD on which the song appeared. However, the attorney for Capitol Records factored in all of their expenses to promote the song, and he figured the company only earned about $650K. For her part, Katy earned $3 million, minus $600K in expenses. During testimony, we discovered it cost over $13K for Katy’s wardrobe stylist, over $3K for hair, and nearly $2K for flashing plastic ice cubes.

In Stockholm this morning, A$AP Rocky took the stand to defend himself in his assault trial. A$AP testified that his accusers repeatedly harassed him and his security and followed them for blocks before the fight broke out. A$AP said 19-year-old Mustafa Jafari was the main instigator. He testified, “He was persistent. He kept coming after us and kept going ‘come on, come on.’” A$AP testified that when both of the young men attacked his security guard that’s when he stepped in, threw Mustafa on the ground and kicked his arm. He denied that he used a bottle to hit him, which is what Mustafa claims. When it was over, A$AP said he considered reporting the assault himself, but decided he didn’t want to draw attention to it. But now he’s facing up to two years in jail on assault charges.
