Adele Is ‘Engaged’ To Boyfriend

Box office weekend news… Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a new nominee… Jonas Brothers coming to Broadway… Paris Hilton ‘waiting’ for a girl… and Adele is ‘engaged’ to boyfriend

It wasn’t number one, but “Cocaine Bear” blew past all expectations. Experts predicted the movie would earn between $15M-$17M in its opening weekend. Instead, “Cocaine Bear” earned $23M for a second place finish. “Ant-Man 3” earned $32.3M to remain No. 1 for a second week, but that was a 69% drop from its opening weekend, giving it the biggest week-to-week drop in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Coming in third was the new movie “Jesus Revolution,” with $15.5M. This was another one that blew past its projected first week earnings of between $6M-$7M. The movie had a $15M budget so they already broke even.

Fan voting for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is open through April 28, with the 2023 HOF Class announced in May. To be eligible for a nomination, an artist or a band much have released its first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination. More than a thousand artists, members of the music industry and music historians cast their votes, but fans do have some say so here. The five artists with the most votes will make up the “fan ballot” that will be tallied along with the other ballots when the 2023 inductees are selected. As of right now, with more than 2.3M votes cast, the top five are George Michael, followed by Cyndi Lauper, Warren Zevon, Soundgarden and Iron Maiden. Trailing them in order are Willie Nelson, Joy Division + New Order, Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Rage Against the Machine, The Spinners, The White Stripes, Missy Elliott and A Tribe Called Quest. Fans can vote once a day at vote.rockhall.com.

On Friday, the Jonas Brothers released their latest single, “Wings,” off their upcoming album, “The Album,” which comes out May 12. They also released the music video for “Wings” starring Haley Lu Richardson, who you may recognize as Portia from Season 2 of “The White Lotus.” But also on Friday, the JoBros announced a five-night residency at the Marquis Theatre on Broadway! Each night of their residency will focus on a different album — “Jonas Brothers,” “A Little Bit Longer,” “Lines, Vines and Trying Times,” “Happiness Begins,” and then finally “The Album.” The shows run March 14-18.

Paris Hilton said she and Carter Reum were talking about their future together when the world shut down in 2020. That’s when she asked him, “What do you think about us making embryos?” He was all for it. Since then, Paris said they’ve been through the process seven times, resulting in 20 embryos….and they’re all BOYS. She said she’s going to keep on trying till she gets her girl. Last month, Paris and Carter welcomed their son Phoenix Barron Carter Reum.

Celebrity gossip site Deux Moi says a “very reliable source” claimed that Adele is engaged to sports agent Rich Paul, and they’re planning a summer wedding. Adele has been wearing a massive ring on THAT finger since February of last year. She was wearing it again at her Vegas residency this weekend. Last August, Adele said in an interview that her dream is to be a homemaker and that she planned on marrying and making babies with Rich. Last year, the couple bought Sylvester Stallone’s former mansion in Beverly Hills together. It has 8 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, so they have lots of rooms to fill!
