Forget about hiring a replacement for Tyra Banks. They’re just canceling “The FABLife” altogether. It only took two months for Tyra to realize the show was failing, but rather than be the captain who goes down with her sinking ship, she bailed. Tyra still has other projects, including her cosmetics company. And she’s currently developing “Life Size 2” for the Disney Channel.
Oh, those crazy Simpsons. Many are left wondering what boundaries — if any — exist between Jessica Simpson’s mom and her sons-in-law. While celebrating her birthday in Mexico, Tina decided to take a picture spread eagle, legs in the air, with Jessica’s husband Eric Johnson’s head resting on her crotch. And she was so proud of the shot, she posted it on IG. All Ashlee Simpson’s husband Evan Ross got was a kiss on the cheek.
Ryan Reynolds could really use a hit movie, and maybe “Deadpool” is it. He and his wife Blake Lively surprised a theater full of people when they showed up for an early screening Monday night. Blake posted her husband’s picture on IG and captioned it, “Who’s that babe in the back?! It was my first time seeing the movie tonight — yes, at the surprise screening for the fans, I mean who do I have to sleep with to get into this movie?! Have to say… Best. Movie. Ever. No joke.” And having the star of the movie in the audience while you’re watching must improve the experience greatly. Those who saw it were all over Twitter afterwards gushing about it.

Jamie Foxx heard a loud crash outside his home in Hidden Valley Monday night, called 911, and then ran outside to see a pickup truck flipped on its side and on fire. The door was locked and the window was up, but Jamie and another man managed to break open the window, cut the driver free from his seatbelt and pull him to safety seconds before the whole truck exploded in flames. That driver — 32-year-old Brett Kyle — was rushed to the hospital and he’s going to survive. He’ll have to deal with a DUI charge but at least he’s alive. Brett’s father wanted to meet Jamie, who posted a photo of the men hugging. He captioned it, “Met the father of the young man from last night today. This is all that matters. That a man, a son, a brother’s life was spared last night. God had his arms wrapped around all of us… No heroes… Just happy fathers.”
Jada Pinkett Smith is boycotting the Oscars because no black actors or actresses were nominated for any of the awards. The president of the Academy — who is a black woman — promises to do what she can to diversify membership. Jada appreciates the gesture, but she’s still boycotting this year. This has ruffled more than a few feathers, including those of transgender actress Alexis Arquette, who blasted Will and Jada on her Facebook page for being “gay hypocrites.” Alexis claims that Will’s first wife caught him servicing “his sugar daddy Benny Medina” and was paid to keep her mouth shut. Alexis said in the since-deleted post, “When Jada comes out as Gay and her beard husband admits his first marriage ended when she walked in to him **** servicing his Sugar Daddy Benny Medina ..then I will listen to them. Will threw a fit on Six degrees of seperation (sic) when he was required by the scene to kiss Anthony Rapp. He persuaded the director to shoot the back of his head in frame. Blocking the non existant lip lock entirely. (BLANK) him. Gays have enemies. They lurk in gilded closets. Outing is healthy. You are either with us or against us. You decide. Today.” No comment yet from Will or Jada, but don’t expect one.
