Instagram has announced a new feature that will allow you to check yourself before you wreck yourself. Instagram has made it their mission to stop bullying on their platform. Earlier this year, they launched a new feature that would flag potentially offensive comments before they could be posted. But now IG is expanding that to cover photo captions. They’re not going to block you from posting it, but they’re going to bring it to your attention that what you’re about to post “looks similar to others that have been reported.” The user will then have three options to click — edit caption, learn more and share anyway. It might not stop you from posting, but at least you have to pause for a second and think about it.

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus split in August after just eight months of marriage. Miley very publicly moved on with Kaitlynn Carter and now Cody Simpson. Yes, they’re still together. Liam has been more quiet about his rebound relationships. First, he was seen out with an Australian actress named Maddison Brown. But over the weekend, Liam was seen in Australia with a new woman — 21-year-old Australian model Gabriella Brooks. In fact, paparazzi caught photos of Liam introducing Gabriella to his parents before they all had lunch together.

Mariah Carey is just loving life right now. She even joined Billy Eichner for “Billy on the Street” which is now available. During the episode, Mariah reveals that she wrote her hit song “All I Want For Christmas is You” in “maybe an hour and a half.” Believe it or not, it’s been 25 years since that song was first released and JUST THIS WEEK, it finally hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart! Lat year, it got all the way up to number 3, but hitting number one on the song’s silver anniversary is extra special for Mariah. Mariah is the top female solo artist in Billboard’s history. “All I Want For Christmas Is You” is her 19th song number one single.

“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” had its red carpet premiere in LA last night and as soon as the movie ended and they flung open those doors to the outside world, people started tweeting their reactions. If you look for them, I’m sure you’ll find spoilers. I’m not giving those to you here. But I will say that the Twitter reaction is fairly mixed. Some reviews are very positive. Others? Not so much. Among the reactions:

“STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER is certainly the most convoluted Star Wars. There is a lot I liked, but the first half gets so bogged down with exposition and new plot and doodads and beacons and transmitters, it feels like it should have been three movies on its own.”

“I’ve seen #StarWarsTheRiseofSkywalker. It’s… a lot. There’s a lot I like and some I loved but overall my feelings are pretty mixed. It felt like an apology for The Last Jedi in some ways and a sequel to The Force Awakens in many, which I found frustrating.”

“#TheRiseofSkywalker is a lot. It’s like 9 movies of plot in one. Going to take me about 9 days to process.”

“All I can say is “wow.”#StarWars: #TheRiseOfSkywalker is many things: horrifying, hopeful, violent, lowkey horny, and full of the right kind of fan service. But most of all, it’s a fitting ending for this incredible, 40+ year-long saga.”

“Epic. All of it. #TheRiseofSkywalker is a terrific finale that is just stuffed with so much of everything. Action, adventure — answers!! — humor, heart, love, and grit. I spent the entire second half with tears in my eyes – a wonderful way to end the Skywalker story”

So how are things going for Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel? I bet she’s getting a Christmas gift that would put Kobe Bryant’s apology ring to SHAME. Meantime, Justin slid into Jessica’s comments on Instagram, posting two heart emojis and a heart-eyed emoji on picture of his wife sitting on an exercise ball promoting Amazon and some workout brand. Justin is being called out for being desperate. One person posted, “Ahahahahahaha comments and emojis aren’t gonna help you now! Go cry a river!” Others went for the jugular. One posted, “She deserves to be LOVED!! She deserves to be RESPECTED!!! She deserves better than you!” Jessica flew to New Orleans to visit her man on the set of his new movie, but she won’t have to worry about any awkward encounters with his costar Alisha Wainwright. She was photographed getting off a plane in LA.
