Director Paul Feig has confirmed that he’s working on a new “Ghostbusters” movie starring a female cast, and he’s bringing his collaborator from the movie, “The Heat,” on board to help him write it. He tweeted, “It’s official. I’m making a new Ghostbusters & writing it with @katiedippold & yes, it will star hilarious women.” Does this mean Melissa McCarthy will be involved? Maybe. Will some of the original cast members pop up? Feig told “Entertainment Weekly” that he’s up for original cast members doing cameos, but not as their old characters. In fact, this is not a remake of the original, this is a complete restart.

Miley Cyrus’ sister Brandi has a dog named Feather that allegedly attacked a model, and now Miley is being sued. Yolande Ngom lives in the same LA apartment building as Brandi, but Brandi’s apartment is owned by Miley’s company, Smiley Miley, Inc. Yolande claims that one of the company’s employees was watching Brandi’s dog when it bit her and left a gash on her right thigh. Yolande says now she has scars that will prevent her from modeling ever again, so she’s suing Brandi and Miley’s company for lost wages and medical bills. I’m quite sure she’ll ask for a little something-something for emotional distress, as well…

Dish Nation has learned that Rihanna and Jonah Hill have been flirting by text all summer long. A source says Jonah makes Rihanna laugh and she’s really developed a crush on him. The source says Rihanna is also thinking it’s time to settle down and start her own family, but the bad boys from her past wouldn’t be great husbands and potential fathers. Somebody like Jonah, however, is grounded and well-respected and would be good baby-making material.

After more than 7 months of separation, Paula Patton finally pulled the trigger and filed for divorce from Robin Thicke. She’s asking for joint legal and physical custody of their 4-year-old son, Julian. The high school sweethearts were married for almost 9 years.

Amanda Bynes walked out of Barney’s in NYC yesterday afternoon wearing a $200 hat she hadn’t paid for. Security brought her back in and called police, but they decided to let her go before officers arrived. But first, they made her sign something saying she’d never come back to their store again. Amanda later explained to “People” magazine that it was a big misunderstanding. She said, “I was walking out of the store to get my handbag out of the car. I had been harassed by a man – a man and this woman were basically trying to take my picture inside the store, and so I asked them to stop taking it, but they wouldn’t … They were like paparazzi but undercover.” When she walked out, Amanda said, “The sensor went off. I didn’t realize I was wearing my cap. And the cap – I was purchasing it, and I was actually still shopping.” Amanda said she had told one of the security guards she was leaving but would be right back, but there was a miscommunication with another guard who ended up grabbing her. She confirmed she was asked not to shop at Barney’s anymore.
