Angelina Jolie Talks About Split From Brad Pitt

Weekend box office news… Zoe Saldana welcomed another baby… Lisa Marie Presley’s daughters are not in foster care… Madonna adoption update… and Angelina Jolie talks about split from Brad Pitt

“The Lego Batman Movie” was number one for a second week, taking in $34.2 million over the President’s Day weekend. By the end of the day, the movie is expected to hit the $100 million mark in just two weekends. Coming in second was “Fifty Shades Darker” with $21 million. And Matt Damon bombed at the box office. His new movie “The Great Wall” opened in third place with $18 million.

Zoe Saldana announced on Instagram Saturday that she and her husband Marco Perego have welcomed another baby. She said, “Marco and I are elated to share the news of the birth of our son Zen. We couldn’t feel more blessed with the new addition to our family. #ThreeBoys… oh boy!” Zoe and Marco’s twins, Cy and Bowie, are now 2.

News outlets are reporting that Lisa Marie Presley’s twin 8-year-old daughters are in foster care while their father is being investigated for having “disturbing” videos of children on his computer. Lisa Marie and Michael Lockwood are involved in a fierce custody battle, with Lisa Marie claiming she found these videos on his computer. But Lisa Marie’s mom wants to clear up one rumor — Her granddaughters are not in foster care. They are with her. She shared a picture of the girls on her Facebook page, captioning it, “…Let me put this to rest…The girls have not been in foster care and never will be. The girls have been with me and will be until all this is sorted out.” Lisa Marie also claims she’s so broke she had to move in with her daughter Riley Keough. She claims Lockwood and a business manager had defrauded her of millions of dollars and she now owes $7.3 million in back taxes, $212K in credit card debt, and another $655K in other debts.

Madonna posted a sweet video of her recently adopted twin 4-year-old girls singing “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.” Esther and Stella seem to be very happy with their new mommy. But one person who has a problem with this is the girls’ father. Adam Mwale told the Daily Mail that the orphanage told him that his daughters were going to go live abroad with a rich woman who would foster them while providing them with a good education. But he was told that after they were educated, they would return to Malawi to live with him and help the family. He says he was told to just agree to everything in court, which he did. But he found out later that he had been deceived and that the adoption was permanent.

Angelina Jolie took all six of her children to Cambodia to promote the Netflix movie she directed, “First They Killed My Father.” A reporter with BBC World News got up the nerve to ask her about her split with Brad Pitt. Angelina responded, “I don’t want to say very much about that, except to say it was a very difficult time and we are a family and we will always be a family, and we will get through this time and hopefully be a stronger family for it.” She added, “Many, many people find themselves in this situation. My whole family, we’ve all being through a difficult time. My focus is my children, our children… and my focus is finding this way through….We are and forever will be a family. I am coping with finding a way through to make sure that this somehow makes us stronger and closer.” Angelina and the kids have been living in a Malibu mansion since October. Of that she said, “Right now, I’m going through a moment when just everybody’s in my room. Two dogs, two hamsters and two children at the moment. It’s wonderful. But, usually, I just wake up trying to figure out who’s going to get the dog out, who’s going to start the pancakes and did anybody brush their teeth.”
