In reality TV news, Captain Sandy from “Below Deck Mediterranean” has proposed to her longtime girlfriend Leah Shafer. Captain Sandy said she knew from the minute she met Leah she wanted to marry her, but the timing had to be right. Five years later and this past weekend, the timing was finally right. The two of them met after Leah slid into Captain Sandy’s Facebook messages. And “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Shannon Beador was arrested for a hit-and-run DUI Saturday night. TMZ has the video of her whipping around a corner, losing control of her car and smashing into what looks like a townhome on a residential street in Newport Beach. She backed up, slowly drove away and eventually parked her car in the middle of the street. Shannon had her dog with her, so she reportedly got out and pretended she was just out walking her dog, but police showed up and caught on real quick what she was trying to pull. Shannon was booked on two misdemeanor charges — hit-and-run and DUI alcohol She was released without bond.

The writers and actors strikes are still going on, but Sherri Shepherd returned for Season 2 of her self-titled daytime talk show yesterday without any drama. So why is nobody giving Sherri a hard time when Drew Barrymore got decimated for doing the same thing? Sherri explained, “The ‘Sherri’ show is not a WGA show and we have never employed WGA writers, so us coming back to work isn’t crossing the picket line.” Asked and answered! And for her Season 2 premiere, Sherri also debuted her new breasts! Back in July, Sherri had a breast reduction, going from a 42DD to what, we don’t know. Sherri made a few jokes about it, but then said it really came down to the fact that have a large chest was starting to give her terrible back pain.

Katy Perry sold her music catalog yesterday for a reported $225M. The deal includes Katy’s stakes in the master recordings and publishing rights to the five studio albums she released under Capitol Records. Those albums contain nine No. 1 hits, including “I Kissed a Girl,” “California Gurls,” and “Firework.” Katy is one of a growing list of artists who’ve recently sold off their music catalogs, including Bruce Springsteen ($500M), Justin Bieber ($200M) and Shakira – I can’t find how much she got anywhere!

There was a trend of people cracking eggs on their kids heads and posting their reactions online. Britney Spears reposted a video of one where two older teenage or young adult women do this to a little girl who says, “Hey, that wasn’t very nice. Want me to do it to you?” and then cracks the egg on one of their heads. Britney captioned it, “IF SHE WOULD HAVE ONLY JUST SLAPPED THE S*** OUT OF THEM 😂😡… STAY CLASSY FOLKS 👋🏻 !!!! Psss nobody’s laughing when she does it back to them 🥚 … well they are laughing here but what if I showed up there ???” This really got stuck in Britney’s craw because then she posted the video on her IG Story and in the next slide posted, “I’m not complaining about this video … it’s actually really cute but with no sound it has a different effect !!! For me, it feels darker … similar things have been done to me so I look at this with different eyes !!! Most of my inner conflict with people is knowing the enemy is right in front of me but I kept them because I loved them !!! I’m extremely sensitive to anybody laughing at someone or bullying in any way !!! Your side, my side and the truth !!! After their secret separation and a ton of speculation, both Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez filed for divorce yesterday. She filed first, and he filed shortly after. Ariana is being represented by divorce attorney to the stars, Laura Wasser. But unlike her other current celebrity client Kevin Costner and recent client Kim Kardashian, Ariana and Dalton’s divorce reportedly is very amicable. She listed the date of separation as Feb. 20, 2023, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for divorce. The two of them had a prenup, they have no children and they apparently settled any issues they did have prior to filing.
