Ariana Grande Quits Social Media After Pete Davidson Split

“The Real World” gets a reboot… “Orange is the New Black” is ending… Kristen Bell is disturbed by another Disney princess… Cardi B blasts TMZ… and Ariana Grande quits social media after Pete Davidson split

“The Real World” on MTV started way back in 1992, and can you believe there were 32 seasons of that show?? Now it’s being reimagined and rebooted for Facebook Watch and fans get to vote on who will be joining the cast. The new version will have three seasons with casts in the US, Mexico and Thailand. Look for it to premiere next spring.

The announcement came down yesterday. “Orange is the New Black” is ending after its 7th season, which will be out sometime next year. In her statement, series creator Jenji Cohan said, “After seven seasons, it’s time to be released from prison. I will miss all the badass ladies of Litchfield and the incredible crew we’ve worked with. My heart is orange but… fade to black.” The VP of Original Content for Netflix said that while it’s sad to say goodbye, “We will definitely be going out on a high.”

Yesterday, we heard how Keira Knightley won’t let her daughter watch “Cinderella” and “The Little Mermaid” because she doesn’t want her little girl to feel like she has to give up her life or her voice for a man. It turns out, Kristen Bell is disturbed by another Disney princess. Even though she plays Princess Anna in “Frozen,” Kristen told Parents Magazine that she has a lot of concerns about Snow White. She said, “Every time we (read) Snow White, I look at my girls and ask, ‘Don’t you think it’s weird that Snow White didn’t ask the old witch why she needed to eat the apple? Or where she got that apple?’ I say, ‘I would never take food from a stranger, would you?’ And my kids are like, ‘No!’ And I’m like, ‘Okay, I’m doing something right.’” And then she asks her girls, “Don’t you think that it’s weird that the prince kisses Snow White without her permission? Because you can not kiss someone if they’re sleeping!”

Yesterday, I told you how TMZ was reporting that Cardi B recorded a rap dissing Nikki Minaj and her team was divided over whether or not to release it. Cardi wants us all to know that is a flat out lie. She posted a now deleted screenshot of a text conversation one of TMZ’s employees had with someone in Cardi’s camp, asking her for a comment about this story, saying they were going to run it the next day. Cardi’s person responded, “Cardi has no song coming out about Nicki. So that’s false and so your story would be false also. Your sources are liars.” TMZ ran it anyway. Cardi posted the screen grab and captioned it, “spreading fake s— about me without doing ya research…Btw in REAL news, my single “Money” drops November 26th.”

Ariana Grande is going to take a minute for herself and walk away from social media. After recording her part for NBC’s “A Very Wicked Halloween” yesterday, Ariana posted on her Instagram Stories, “Okay, today was very special and I’m so grateful I was able to be there. Time to say bye bye again to the Internet for just a lil bit. It’s hard not to bump news and stuff that I’m not trying to see right now. It’s very sad and we’re all trying very hard to keep going. Love you. And thank you for being here always.” Her now ex-fiance Pete Davidson was spotted for the first time since the breakup, looking absolutely devastated while going to visit his mom.
