Rapper Shock G — whose real name was Greg Jacobs but was most famously known as Humpty Hump from Digital Underground — has passed away. He was 57. His father told TMZ his son was found dead in a hotel room in Tampa yesterday. There were no signs of any trauma and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death. “The Humpty Dance” went all the way to No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and hit No. 1 on the Rap Singles chart. It’s also been one of the most-sampled hip-hop songs of all time. But did you know that a very young, unknown Tupac Shakur made a brief appearance in the “Humpty Dance” video?? Tupac got his start in the music business as Digital Underground’s roadie and backup dancer!

Ronnie Ortiz has been arrested again for felony domestic violence, but in a twist…this time, it does not involve his baby mama Jenn Harley. Ronnie is currently on 36-months probation for domestic violence against Jenn, so it looks like he’s finally going to face some serious jail time. Back in October 2019, Ronnie was arrested for allegedly hitting and chasing Jenn with a knife while she was holding their baby girl, Ariana. Police had to tase him to get him under control. We’re not sure who he is accused of assaulting this time, but Ronnie was taking care of his daughter at the time. Ariana was placed with Ronnie’s brother until Jenn could come in from Vegas to get her. Ronnie is free after posting $100K bond.

Paris Jackson has landed a role in the upcoming “American Horror Story: Double Feature.” According to TMZ, Paris will be in at least one episode, but perhaps more? Back in March, Ryan Murphy teased the upcoming 10th “Horror” season by announcing that his favorites Sarah Paulson, Macaulay Culkin, Evan Peters, Billie Lourd, and others are returning. We don’t know the plot yet, but Ryan teased, “Two horrifying stories…One season. One by the sea…One by the sand.”

There are four Jonas brothers, not just three. Frankie Jonas is the youngest of the brothers, born 8 years after Nick. He’s often been called the “Bonus Jonas,” which I always thought was cute. But I promise I’ll never call him that after hearing his take on that. In a new interview, a now 20-year-old Frankie said, “I always hated that nickname. A lot of my problem with being in the public eye was that I was seen as this commodified vision of myself.” Frankie said he was 12 when he first downloaded Twitter and searched his name, finding out he was the butt of a joke. He said, “It was all pretty awful things for a 12-year-old to read. A lot of it was like, ‘If you ever feel forgotten, remember this guy.’” Frankie said it became a form of self-harm to look at the messages, but he couldn’t stop himself and it came a serious issue for him. He said, “A lot of that perpetuated the idea that I was just this meme. I was this joke, and my entire identity to people was ‘adjacent,’ which really affected myself and the way that I thought about the world and the way I felt about myself.” His turmoil led to addiction, and in a recent video, Frankie said he even had suicidal thoughts before he got sober. And now? Frankie is making a name for himself on TikTok!

Another strange, new twist in the Armie Hammer story. A few months ago, several women came forward with accusations — and DMs to back them up — that Armie is abusive in the bedroom and wants to eat body parts. A woman named Julia Morrison has decided to turn the DMs she allegedly received from Armie into two NFTs. She explained, “I’m sick of people not believing women…it’s so triggering to see people saying stuff on the internet, like…‘They’re making it up. They’re doing it for this, they’re doing it for that…’” Julia said once she learned that an NFT is a way to authenticate something — like a notary would — she decided to make artwork out of those messages so anyone who ever questions their authenticity will be able to say yes, “these things are authentic and real. It’s like a checkmate. So Julia’s first NFT is called “Dibs on Ribs.” It’s a conversation she had with Armie after she posted an IG Story about billionaires who got richer during the pandemic. In her post, Julia wrote, “eat the rich for real” and “nom nom nom.” Armie reportedly slid into her DMs with, “Dibs on the glute muscles and ribs for smoking.” Her second is “Caligula Triptych.” In these DMs, Armie reportedly asked Julia if she’d be willing to live in a cage, saying, “You don’t think or worry about anything except being a good little pet. My own personal little slave. In return you will be worshipped, fed, and (BLANKED)….I have a fantasy about having someone prove their love and devotion and tying them up in a public place at night and making their body free use. And seeing if they will (BLANK) strangers for me.” No word on how much Julia is charging for this NFT “art.”
