Hackers broke into HBO’s computers… David Letterman joins Netflix… Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce is on hold… Taylor Swift’s trial continues… and ‘Bachelorette’ Rachel Lindsay calls Peter ‘manipulative’

Hackers broke into HBO’s computers and they’ve been leaking Game of Thrones scripts and inner-office emails threatening to leak more if they don’t get several million dollars. And since they haven’t gotten paid yet, the hackers have now released the cellphone numbers of GOT stars Emilia Clarke and Lena Headey. And if that doesn’t do the trick, the hackers are now threatening to upload the remaining three episodes of the current seventh season if they don’t get paid within the next three days.

It’s been two years since David Letterman quit The Late Show and started growing his beard. But Dave has decided that he misses working, and he’s agreed to do a six-episode talk show for Netflix that will premiere sometime next year. Unlike his old show with a band and a live audience and multiple guests and comedy skits, his new one will be long conversations with one guest — sort of like what Oprah does with her Super Soul Sunday, I’m guessing. We don’t know yet who his guests will be. Meantime, Disney announced yesterday that they’re pulling all their movies from Netflix and they’re launching their own Disney streaming service in 2019. They’re also launching an ESPN streaming service early next year.

Us Weekly is reporting that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce is on hold. Their source said, “They haven’t done anything to move it forward in several months and no one thinks they’re ever going to.” The source says when she left Brad, people in Angelina’s circle started a smear campaign against him. But in the months that followed, Brad took all the blame for the demise of the marriage and stopped drinking and Angelina realized how much she still loves him and started to regret her decisions. This source thinks they may be headed for a full recovery!

Taylor Swift’s trial continues in Denver today. She is accusing former morning show DJ David Mueller of groping her bottom during a meet-and-greet four years ago. David says she’s lying and he’s lost his job and future job opportunities because of it. Taylor brought her mother to court with her yesterday. Mom happened to be backstage with Taylor when this alleged groping incident took place and she broke down in tears during the opening statements when Taylor’s attorney described how mom has always tried to protect her daughter. Both mom and Taylor are expected to testify.

In case you were wondering, Bachelorette Rachel is still sticking to her decision. She says she hopes to marry Bryan in a winter wedding, but NEXT winter. But in the meantime, Rachel and Bryan plan to move in together in either her hometown of Dallas, his hometown of Miami, or LA. She’s now on a “Destroy Peter” tour, telling reporters that he was manipulative with her feelings and that she and Bryan both agree that Peter shouldn’t be the next Bachelor. They want it to be some Russian guy named Alex who was apparently one of the contestants from Rachel’s season. Now, someone who’s been lost in all the hoopla over Peter vs. Bryan is ERIC! And yes, Eric has an opinion on Rachel’s choice. He was on former Bachelor Ben Higgins’ podcast and he said that it looks like Bryan is the rebound. He said, “Rachel put herself in a bind from saying ‘I want a proposal.’ So she held herself accountable in a place where I think it was pride. Her pride wouldn’t let her not do what she wanted to do and that was she wanted a proposal and Peter didn’t want that. So if it wasn’t a proposal, then you’re out, which I get.” He also added, “I just think if she never would’ve said, ‘I want a proposal,’ and made that the priority, she would’ve been okay.”
