In fact, in light of a recent chicken wing shortage, Rick recently helped them launch Thighstop! Rick posted about a picture of his son sitting on a throne eating wings and captioned it, “Everyone wish my son @mmgbigbank HAPPY 16th BIRTHDAY!!! Today, he became the owner of his 1st @wingstop franchise. Your (sic) now officially a BOSS!!! Keep Going.”

Variety has announced that a writer has been hired and a remake of “The Bodyguard” is going to happen. Maybe. Sometimes these things never go anywhere. Did you know the script for the original 1992 movie was in limbo for a couple of decades before it was made? The original writer wrote the script with Steve McQueen and Diana Ross in mind. The script was rejected 67 times before a movie studio picked it up. But while they were waiting for a green light, Steve was replaced by Ryan O’Neal, who happened to be dating Diana at the time. But then she turned down the project and the movie was shelved….until Kevin Costner came across the script. And the ONLY person he wanted to play the mega superstar Rachel was Whitney Houston, but it took him a year for him to convince her to do it. And the rest is music history.

When Britney Spears announced her engagement to Sam Asghari, mixed in with all the congratulations were lots of snarky “Get a prenup!” comments. The most famous one came from Oscar-winning actress Octavia Spencer. Sam was a good sport about it, liking her comment and adding “100.” He even posted an IG Story joking that he needed the ironclad prenup to protect his Jeep and shoe collection in case Britney dumps him. Octavia felt bad about what she’d done and deleted her comment. She then posted a cute photo of Britney and Sam on her Instagram and captioned it, “Y’all, a few days ago Sam and Britney announced their engagement and me being me I made a joke. My intention was to make them laugh not cause pain. I’ve reached out to this lovely couple privately to apologize and now want to restore just a smidge of happiness they were robbed of. Britney’s fans have seen her through a lot of pain and she’s found happiness. We’re thrilled for her. So let’s show them love. 👇🏽 #nonegativity” Sam responded, “You are very kind to clarify but i have no hard feelings whatsoever. Jokes and misconceptions come with the territory.” No comment from Britney because she shut down her Instagram.

Is this a spoiler alert? Because I’m going to tell you who ABC is rumored to have picked as the next Bachelor and you’ve never heard of him. His name is Clayton Echard and he’s going to be one of Michelle Young’s suitors on the upcoming season of “The Bachelorette.” Obviously, he doesn’t get her final rose, but producers believe America is going to fall in love with him. And now the show’s editors will make sure we do! Clayton was already spotted filming in his hometown in Missouri, where he works in orthopedic sales. “The Bachelor” typically premieres in January so they’ve got to get started ASAP.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are moving to Texas! Sort of. Ben and Jen have rented a luxury condo in Austin where Ben will be filming a new Robert Rodriguez movie called “Hypnotic.” According to Deadline, “The action thriller will follow a detective who becomes entangled in a mystery involving his missing daughter and a secret government program while investigating a string of high-end crimes.” Filming is set to begin on Monday. Sources say a crew is busy getting the condo “JLo ready,” but she won’t be staying full-time. She’s got other projects to tend to.
