After six weeks, “Avatar: The Way of Water” is no longer No. 1 at the box office. It was knocked off the top by M. Night Shyamalan’s “Knock at the Cabin,” which debuted with $14.2M. But “Avatar 2” didn’t come in second, either! That spot went to “80 for Brady,” which debuted with $12.5M. “Avatar 2” finally shows up in third with another $10.8M. So far the movie has earned $636M in the US and $2.1B worldwide. Fourth place went to “Puss in Boots” with $7.9M, and “BTS: Yet to Come in Cinemas” was fifth with $6.8M.

Armie Hammer is breaking his silence for the first time since his personal and professional life took a nose dive two years ago. Several women came forward to accuse him of committing acts of sexual violence and hoping someone would agree to participate in his cannibalistic fantasies. That was pretty much a career-ender right there. But now Armie is speaking out to a media outlet where all the big stars go — “Air Mail.” What is Air Mail, you ask? Well, so did I. And according to Wikipedia, “Air Mail is a digital weekly newsletter launched in July 2019 by former Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Graydon Carter and former New York Times reporter Alessandra Stanley.” So there you go! Armie told Air Mail, “I’m here to own my mistakes, take accountability for the fact that I was an a–hole, that I was selfish, that I used people to make me feel better. I’m now a healthier, happier, more balanced person…I’m truly grateful for my life and my recovery and everything. I would not go back and undo everything that’s happened to me.” Armie said his interest in getting rough in the bedroom started after he was sexually abused by his youth pastor when he was only 13-years-old. Armie said, “Sexuality was introduced to me in a scary way where I had no control. My interests then went to: I want to have control in the situation, sexually.” Armie admitted he was “one million percent” emotionally abusive towards his accusers. “I would have these younger women …I was a successful actor …and they would have said yes to things that maybe they wouldn’t have said yes to on their own…” At his lowest point, Armie admitted that he thought about taking his life. While in the Cayman Islands, Armie said, “I just walked out into the ocean and swam out as far as I could and hoped that either I drowned, or was hit by a boat, or eaten by a shark. Then I realized that my kids were still on shore, and that I couldn’t do that to my kids.”

Adidas has announced that for the first time in 50 years, they are launching a new label and Jenna Ortega will be their global brand ambassador. Jenna said, “Growing up for me, it always had to be Adidas sneakers and Ts as the go-to. To this day, so much of my wardrobe is made up of the iconic three stripes. I feel so honored to become a part of this legendary family of change makers and be the face of its all-new label. Can’t wait to show you guys.”

If you haven’t seen “Pamela: A Love Story” on Netflix yet, it’s really good. Rotten Tomatoes critics have given it 96% positive reviews so far, while the audience gives it 93%. One audience member who really appreciated it is Britney Spears. In a since-deleted Instagram post, Britney praised Pamela Anderson and her two sons for defending her. In the documentary, Pamela is upset about Hulu’s “Pam and Tommy” which brings the stolen sex tape back to life. In the documentary, Pamela’s son Dylan said, “The worst part of her life and making a semi-comedy out of it didn’t make sense.” He also said he’s never met a woman as brave as his own mom. That really touched Britney, who’s has a very strained relationship with her two sons. She posted, “I really respect the fact that her children stood up for her relating to the fact that people were trying to sell her story from the past!!! They said, ‘Why the hell ring up things that happened 20 years ago if that really messed up my mom???’ Referring to the embarrassing subject being sold in a comedic TV comparison…I mean when I read THAT, I was like DAMN!!! With 4 documentaries being released about me last year with people I adore speaking up about my past!!! THAT alone was almost as hard as what I went through in my past!!!!”

History was made at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards last night. Beyoncé won 4 more Grammys for her collection, bringing the total to a record setting 32. She is now officially the most-decorated artist in Grammy history. However, the night was not without controversy. After being nominated for Album of the Year for the fourth time, Beyoncé last that category again, for the fourth time. This year, Harry Styles’ “Harry’s House” took the biggest award of the night. Beyoncé’s single “Break My Soul” also lost Record of the Year to Lizzo’s “About Damn Time.” Lizzo used her speech to gush effusively over Beyoncé, saying she skipped school in fifth grade to see her and called her “the artist of our lives.” Other surprise winner last night included Bonnie Raitt’s “Just Like That” for Song of the Year and Samara Joy for Best New Artist.
