Weekend box office news… Paris Jackson admits she’s in AA… Elle King is engaged… “Kocktails with Khloe” ratings… and Beyonce released her new single “Formation”

“Kung Fu Panda 3” won the box office this weekend with $21 million. “Hail, Caesar!” came in second with a measly $11.4 million, which makes it the lowest opening ever of the Coen brothers’ directing career. “The Revenant” came in third with $7.1 million. “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” added another $6.9 million to its totals and took fourth place. And rounding out the top five was “The Choice,” which opened with $6.1 million.

Seventeen-year-old Paris Jackson launched a public Instagram just three weeks ago and she may already be regretting that decision. After she posted a picture of herself, she heard from the internet trolls who slammed her because she didn’t personally respond to commenters. That’s when she lost it. Paris responded, “This is (BLANKING) ridiculous. I am expected to literally sit on my (BLANK) all day replying to comments people leave me (positive and negative)? I have AA meeting to go to. Family obligations. PERSONAL obligations.” She went on…“It’s so (BLANKING) selfish that I am literally attacked on ever (BLANKING) thing I post just because people that I DON’T EVEN KNOW aren’t getting what they want. I don’t know any of you. I appreciate the love and support, but the expectations are (BLANKING) ridiculous. The expectations for my DAD were (BLANKING) ridiculous. He didn’t owe you anything, yet he was ripped to shreds DAILY. I will not let that happen to me.”

Congratulations to Elle King! Her longtime boyfriend Fergie asked her to marry him yesterday. She made the announcement on IG, posting a picture right after the magical moment. She captioned it, “Fergie asked me to marry him on a sailboat under the Golden Gate Bridge. I said yes.” Later that night, Elle and Fergie walked the red carpet at the Rolling Stone pre-Super Bowl party in San Francisco.

The ratings for “Kocktails with Khloe” are dropping pretty quickly. After debuting with 496K viewers on January 20, the fourth episode had about 238K. Of course, the FYI network is thrilled because these numbers are still better than anything else on FYI, but Khloe is said to be disappointed with the way the show is going.

Before she stole the halftime show from Coldplay on Sunday, Beyonce released her new single “Formation.” And then after that halftime show, Beyonce announced that she is going back out on the road with her “Formation Tour.” Pre-sale for fan club members and American Express cardholders begins tomorrow. The rest of us get what’s left on Ticketmaster.com February 15. There will be 40 dates in this all-stadium tour, which will cover the biggest cities in North America and Europe.
