The trailer for Netflix’s upcoming movie “Blonde” was released with Ana de Armas playing the iconic Marilyn Monroe. That might’ve seemed like an odd casting choice, but with the wig and makeup, Ana is getting praise for looking and acting exactly like Marilyn. But Ana isn’t feeling the same love for sounding like Marilyn. Ana is Cuban and Marilyn was born and raised in LA. Even though she worked with a dialect coach for nine months, some people feel Ana’s Cuban accent is still too prominent. No matter what we think, Marilyn’s estate has Ana’s back. They released a statement saying, “Ana has artfully captured the essence of Marilyn’s voice. Marilyn was known for her breathiness, which was actually a tactic taught to her by a speech therapist during her childhood to help her overcome a stutter. There are no rules when it comes to how an artist can pay homage to her legacy.” Her estate went on to suggest that Marilyn’s fans should wait until they see the film before passing judgment. “Blonde” premieres Sept. 28 on Netflix, and it will be Netflix’s first NC-17 movie.

Bachelor Nation believes Matt James is trying to tell us that Rachael Kirkconnell is pregnant. In a recent Instagram video he posted in partnership with Nissan, Matt is installing a baby seat. In the voiceover, Matt says, “I count on my Nissan Altima to get me where I need to go, so that when this day comes — that’s right, it’s coming — we’ll have enough room for the entire basketball team.” Fans went nuts, thinking Matt just did a soft launch of his and Rachael’s baby announcement. No comment from either of their reps.

It’s been about 9 months since the Astroworld tragedy in Houston that left 10 people dead and hundreds injured. Afterward, 400 lawsuits have been filed against Travis Scott, Live Nation and others involved in the music festival. All those lawsuits have been combined into one giant civil case representing nearly 2800 victims. I searched the internet looking for a status update on the lawsuit, but couldn’t find a thing. Meantime, Travis is getting back to work. Zouk Nightclub in Vegas announced yesterday that Travis will be playing a 7-show residency there starting next month. It’s called “Road to Utopia,” and the press release says it will be “a mind-bending, first-of-its-kind nightclub residency experience….(Travis’) electric performances will pair perfectly with our immersive atmosphere, bringing our guests an unmatched show unlike anything else they can find in Las Vegas.”

Naomi Judd committed suicide on April 30 after a long battle with depression. We’re just now finding out that she her daughters Wynonna and Ashley out of her $25M will. Naomi wrote her will in November of 2017. In it, she appointed her husband of 33 years — Larry Strickland — as the executor of her estate, giving him “full authority and discretion” over any property she leaves behind. A source told RadarOnline that Wynonna is especially upset with her mother’s decision, because she believes she was a major force behind her mother’s success.

Just a few weeks ago, Lizzo apologized and changed a lyric in her song “GRRRLS” because she used a term that was offensive to people who suffer from spasms. You would think someone in Beyonce’s camp caught wind of that before her “Renaissance” album dropped on Friday, but apparently that wasn’t the case. Now Beyonce will be changing the lyrics in her song “Heated” because she uses the term “spazzin’.” Her team released a statement to “Rolling Stone” saying, “The word, not used intentionally in a harmful way, will be replaced.”
