Members of ’N Sync and the Backstreet Boys are teaming up to make a zombie western. No, I’m not kidding. The same studio that brought us “Sharknado” is giving us “Dead 7” — at least that’s it’s tentative title. Backstreet Boy Nick Carter is writing and starring in the movie, which follows a “ragtag band of gunslingers” who fight off a zombie plague. So far, fellow Backstreet Boys Howie D and AJ McLean have signed on. Joey Fatone from ’N Sync says to count him in, too. Nick is also reaching out to Jordan Knight.

Miley Cyrus announced on her social media accounts yesterday that she’ll be hosting the MTV Video Music Awards in LA on August 30. She wore an alien costume and sandwich boards that said, “MTV won’t let me perform so I’m hosting this year’s VMAs.”

Because he can, Lil Wayne hired a private jet out of Ft. Lauderdale to fly him somewhere. TMZ is reporting that before takeoff, Weezy told the pilot that he and his posse wanted to get high while they were flying high, but the pilot said no. There would be no pot smoking on his plane. But shortly after takeoff, Weezy and his boys all lit up their joints, so the pilot turned that plane back around and went back to the airport, kicking them all off his plane.

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert announced yesterday that their marriage is over and they asked for “privacy and compassion” during this time. But of course nobody is going to give them that! Well, come to find out, Blake actually filed for divorce a couple weeks ago and only hours after their announcement, a judge in Oklahoma signed the divorce papers and they are officially DONE. There are many rumors floating around about what went wrong. Some are saying Blake wanted kids and Miranda didn’t. Others are saying her constant touring caused them to drift apart. There’s also the rumor that Miranda cheated on Blake with country artist Chris Ryan. And yet others are saying yes, Miranda cheated, but with some other guy.
