Blake Shelton Accused of Giving False Testimony

Patty Duke dies at 69… Kehlani hospitalized after trying to commit suicide… Wes Scantlin melts down… Avicii’s retirement… and Blake Shelton accused of giving false testimony

According to her son, Sean Astin, Patty Duke lived the last months of her life in pain and she died yesterday morning holding her son’s hand. He says the outpouring of love and praise for his mother has been a great comfort. Patty Duke had dealt with many physical ailments over the years, including emphysema after years of smoking. She died of sepsis from a ruptured intestine. She was 69.

R&B singer Kehlani has been dating Kyrie Irving from the Cleveland Cavaliers, but her ex boyfriend Party Next Door posted a picture on Instagram which showed him holding Kehlani’s hand in bed. He captioned it, “After all her shenanigans, still got the r&b singer in my bed.” Kehlani immediately deleted her Instagram account, but hours later, she reactivated it to post a picture showing her arm with an IV in it. She captioned it, “Today I wanted to leave this earth. Being completely selfish for once. Never thought I’d get to such a low point.” She we shouldn’t believe the blogs we read because no one was cheated on and this was just a misunderstanding. Even though she apparently attempted to take her own life, Kehlani said, “God saved me for a reason, and for that…I must be grateful..Cuz I’m not in heaven right now for a reason.” Then she posted a picture of Party Next Door sitting next to her hospital bed. She captioned it, “Thank you for saving my life.” She then deleted her Instagram.

Remember Puddle of Mudd? They’re still around, touring and stuff. But things are not going well. Lead singer Wes Scantlin has been off the rails lately, acting crazy on stage. In fact, he was acting so weird during a concert in Doncaster, England, the other night, his band abandoned him on stage! Wes just sat there shirtless in a chair while the audience booed and yelled at him for a crappy performance. He just sat there talking to the crowd until the sound guy killed his mic, but he kept talking anyway. Many people believed Wes was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

At the ripe old age of 26, Avicii is retiring from live shows. He released a long letter thanking pretty much everybody he’s ever worked with or known, but then explained, “Two weeks ago, I took the time to drive across the U.S. with my friends and team, to just look and see and think about things in a new way. It really helped me realize that I needed to make the change that I’d been struggling with for a while. My choices and career have never been driven by material things, although I’m grateful for all the opportunities and comforts my success has availed me. I know I am blessed to be able to travel all around the world and perform, but I have too little left for the life of a real person behind the artist. I will however never let go of music – I will continue to speak to my fans through it, but I’ve decided this 2016 run will be my last tour and last shows. Let’s make them go out with a bang! One part of me can never say never, I could be back …but I won’t be right back.”

After “In Touch” magazine did a story about Blake Shelton hitting rock bottom and needing rehab, he sued for defamation. But Bauer Publishing is fighting back, saying Blake lied during a sworn deposition about a boozy bender in Cancun, and they have the photographic evidence to prove it. Blake stated, “Contrary to the Rehab Story, I was not in Cancun for a bachelor party. Instead, I was with my tour manager Kevin Canady and a married couple who are friends of ours. We stayed at the Fiesta Americana…I did not stay at the hotel ME Melia, Cancun or visit it. Contrary to what is reported in the Rehab Story, I did not attend a bachelor party, party with strippers, or go to a strip club during my time in Cancun… I did not do tequila shots ‘non-stop’ or walk through my hotel lobby carrying two bottles of tequila. I did not kiss any women while I was in Cancun. There was no ‘alcohol-fueled rendezvous,’ nor did I hook up with any women, let alone multiple women, in my hotel room or anywhere else.” But then Bauer Publishing produced a picture showing Blake taking a picture with a fan that was tagged “ME Melia” — the hotel he claims he never visited.  So does that make everything else a lie?
