Blake Shelton Says Gwen Stefani Saved His Life

New TV shows… Sia gives ‘Survivor’ finalist $100K… Is Ozzy Osbourne’s affair a publicity stunt?… Lady Gaga defends Kesha… and Blake Shelton says Gwen Stefani saved his life

ABC announced yesterday that “Scandal” won’t be on the fall schedule to accommodate Kerry Washington’s pregnancy. It will probably comeback mid-season 2017. To fill the void, the new show “Notorious” will fill the slot between “Grey’s Anatomy” and “How To Get Away With Murder.” It’s inspired by the true-life cases of celebrity defense attorney Mark Geragos. ABC’s other fall drama, “Designated Survivor,” stars Kiefer Sutherland who plays a cabinet member who gets bumped up to president after the Capitol is bombed during a State of the Union address. ABC renewed “American Crime,” and has ordered “When We Rise,” a miniseries devoted to the gay rights movement. Over on CBS, we get some new sitcoms. Kevin James stars as a retired cop in a sitcom called Kevin Can Wait. Matt LeBlanc stars in “Man With a Plan.” And Joel McHale is an adventure journalist in “The Great Indoors.” Also be on the lookout for “Bull.” Former NCIS star Michael Weatherly plays a young version of Dr. Phil, who began his career as a trial consultant. CBS is also planning a spinoff of “The Good Wife” starring Christine Baranski, but it will only be available on the network’s streaming app. CBS is also giving Katherine Heigl another chance with “Doubt,” a legal drama co-starring Laverne Cox.

Who knew Sia was such a big “Survivor” fan? She popped up last night’s Season 32 finale to surprise the animal loving contestant Tai Trang. During the season, Tai spoke often about his love for animals and even saved a chicken from being slaughtered in Cambodia despite the fact that everyone was starving. Sia says she’s giving Tai $50K for his “authenticity” and his “care for animals.” She’s giving another $50K to the animal charity of Tai’s choice.

Ozzy Osbourne reportedly ended his 6-month affair with LA hairstylist Michelle Pugh, hoping he can save his marriage to Sharon Osbourne. Meantime, many skeptics believe that Sharon staged this whole affair storyline as a PR stunt to promote her husband’s upcoming tour with Black Sabbath.

Lady Gaga can’t believe Dr. Luke had the power to pull the plug on Kesha’s performance at the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night. He reportedly made the decision after media speculation that she would use her performance to bash him. Gaga tweeted, “Isn’t it strange that it’s legal to own a woman this way? Listen Ursula, we want her voice back. #freeKesha.”

Blake Shelton told CMT that Gwen Stefani saved his life last year, and he feels like she would say the same thing about him. Gwen’s marriage to Gavin Rossdale fell apart last year after she found out he was sleeping with the nanny. So….whatever happened to the nanny? Well, Mindy Mann is very pregnant with a baby girl, but the baby daddy is NOT Gavin. He’s reportedly a snowboarder named Spencer Gutcheon.
