Buckingham Palace has announced that on May 6, 2023, the coronation ceremony of King Charles III will be held at Westminster Abbey. A lot of people thought it would’ve been on June 2, which would be the date his mother was coronated in 1953. Instead, it falls on the date of his grandson Archie’s 4th birthday! There will be a lot of the same stuff that happened during his mother’s 1953 coronation, just a LOT less of it. While Queen Elizabeth II’s ceremony took 14 months to prepare, cost about $50M when you adjust for today’s dollars, and lasted three hours, King Charles III’s ceremony will be scaled way back. We don’t know the dollar amount yet, but the ceremony is only expected to last an hour. What will be the same is that the Archbishop of Canterbury will perform the ceremony and he will anoint Charles with oil and place the Saint Edward’s crown on his head. The Royal Crown was commissioned in 1661 by King Charles III’s namesake, King Charles II. It’s made of nearly 5 pounds of solid 22-carat gold with more than 400 precious and semi-precious stones, including amethysts, sapphires, diamonds, rubies, topazes, tourmalines, and garnets. In today’s market, this crown is worth an estimated $57M. Also, the Palace announced that King Charles’ wife of 17 years, Camilla, who is now the Queen Consort, will be coronated the same day.

Kaley Cuoco has talked about wanting to have kids for many years, but things just never worked out. Her career was on fire, but she had two failed marriages. The first one to tennis player Ryan Sweeting was very brief. The second was to wealthy equestrian Karl Cook, and that one lasted 3 years. But now, barely a year after her second marriage ended, Kaley is not only in love again, she’s expecting a baby girl with her boyfriend, “Ozark” actor Tom Pelphrey. Back in April, Kaley decided to tag along with her manager to the season premiere of “Ozark” and that decision changed the course of her life. Kaley told “USA Today” that when she saw Tom, it was love at first sight. She said, “I heard his voice, and I turned around, and it was like my life was over, or just starting. It hit me. It was love at first sight.” Tom joined the “Ozark” cast in Season 3, playing Wendy’s bi-polar brother, Ben Davis.

Khloe Kardashian was wearing a bandage on her face at several events recently and she yesterday, she let us know what’s going on. Khloe explained that she had noticed “a small bump” on her face and thought it was a zit. But seven months later, that bump was still there, so she got it biopsied. That’s when doctors told Khloe she had precancerous melanoma, or skin cancer. She had it removed and said she’ll continue to wear bandages for now, but when she’s allowed to go bandage-free, there will probably be a scar and an indention in her cheek where the tumor once was. However, Khloe says she seems to be in the clear now, so that’s the most important thing! She also revealed that when she was 19, she had surgery to remove a melanoma on her back and wanted to remind ALL of us to keep checking our skin all the time.

He was the last original judge sitting, but after the upcoming 23rd season, Blake Shelton will step down from “The Voice.” Blake has enjoyed 8 wins and watched 15 of his artists reach No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart, but it’s time to move on. He released a statement saying, “This show has changed my life in every way for the better and it will always feel like home to me. It’s been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns and I want to thank everyone at ‘The Voice’ from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people, you are the best. It takes a lot of work, passion, and adult beverages (Ha!) to pull off a live show twice a week. I’ve made lifelong bonds with Carson and every single one my fellow coaches over the years, including my wife, Gwen Stefani!” Blake is currently doing Season 22 with Gwen, John Legend and newbie Camila Cabello. For his final Season 23, he’ll sit next to Kelly Clarkson, Chance the Rapper and Niall Horan!

The band is back together. After breaking up seven years ago, Blink-182 is not only back together, they’re releasing their new single “EDGING” this Friday, and starting in March, they’re kicking of a world tour! Blink-182 first broke up in 2005 and got back together four years later. Tom DeLonge left in 2015 to go chase UFOs. He was replaced by Matt Skiba. But now Tom is back — sorry Matt! — with Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus, who recently beat cancer, and this reunion has Blink-182 fans SHOOK. Their tour will kick off March 11 in Tijuana, Mexico. They’ll travel through South American and Mexico before shifting to North America in May. The band will tour the US and Canada through July, take about a month off, and then head to Europe in September. After that, Blink-182 will hit up Vegas for the “When We Were Young Festival” on Oct. 21, before taking a long holiday break. In February, the tour will pick up again in Australia, with their final show scheduled for February 26, 2024.
