It looks like Avril Lavigne and Tyga have decided to give love another try. She called off her engagement to Mod Sun back in February and he pretty much found out the same way we all did when she was photographed hugging him outside Nobu. A few weeks ago, the two of them reportedly — and amicably — called it quits. But there must be something about Nobu because the two of them were spotted there again last week and it looks like they are giving their relationship another try. But a source told Entertainment Tonight they’re taking it slower this go ‘round, and just “enjoying their time together.” And don’t worry about Mod Sun. He’s doing fine. Only Fans model Sahara Ray posted a photo of her and Mod kissing on her IG Stories. A source told Page Six it’s nothing serious, though. The source said, “Mod is enjoying being single for the first time in years and having fun. He’s not in a relationship with anyone.”

The invitation said, “Dress code: Evening Cocktail Attire (no jeans, no T-shirt, no logos/offensive clothing). Paramount reserves the right to turn anyone away for improper dress or other reasons. Comfortable shoes highly recommended.” It turns out, they really meant it. If you showed up for the screening of “Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” at the Lincoln Center in New York Monday night and you weren’t dressed to code, you were not allowed to enter. They didn’t care how fancy or designer those jeans and tees were, you were dismissed. That reportedly led to organizers scrambling to fill some empty seats and get the theater filled. Fortunately, Tom Cruise showed up dressed properly and he was allowed to enter. But sources told Page Six he only stayed for about 30 minutes and then headed for the airport.

So “Barbenheimer” is a thing. “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” both open on July 21, an the movies couldn’t be more different. While “Barbie” is light and fluffy pink, Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” is a thriller about the UC Berkeley scientist who became the father of the atomic bomb. What started out as on online discussion about how these two movies would make a great double feature turned into a meme, and then a lot of people decided this was actually a pretty fun idea. In fact, AMC says 20K people have already reserved seats to see both movies back-to-back this weekend.

A lot of people assumed The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp were inspired by Britney Spears while creating her character for “The Idol” on Britney Spears, but Selena Gomez reportedly thinks the character hits a little too close to home. In cast you forgot, Selena dated The Weeknd for about 10 months in 2017. A source close to her told “Daily Mail,” “The similarities between Selena’s life and Jocelyn’s life are just uncanny. Being that she actually dated The Weeknd, it is even more creepy for her. Her real-life pain was used for entertainment value and that really irks her out. Everyone in her team who has known her for a very long time is dumbfounded by this, but at the end of the day Selena is going to do what she always does – rise above and move on.”

Britney Spears’ tell-all memoir “The Woman in Me” comes out Oct. 24 and is available for pre-order right now. Britney announced its arrival on Instagram yesterday saying, “I worked my a** off for this book, I had a lot of therapy to get this book done, so you guys better like it. And if you don’t like it, that’s fine too.” Then she started quoting the lyrics to the Beach Boys’ “Kokomo.” That was followed by another video of Britney getting a little something off her chest, and no — it wasn’t her top. She said, “I heard on the news this radio station talking smack and talking s*** that’s why I’m addressing it. Saying that I deserve to be smacked. Security was ‘doing their job and protecting their client.’ I’ve been with the most famous people in the world. *NSYNC at one time. Girls would like literally throw themselves at them… I was knocked down by like three 12-year-olds trying to get my picture. My security not one time touched them or even came near them. Point being is I didn’t appreciate the people saying that I deserved to be hit. Because no woman ever deserves to be hit…” She also said someone came to her table to apologize about 30 minutes later, but she’s still waiting on her public apology.
