Britney Spears Checks Into Mental Health Facility

The Situation is 3 months into his 8-month prison sentence for tax evasion and fraud. So how is Mike Sorrentino getting along behind bars? Snooki says she emails Mike at least once a week and he’s having the time of his life in there! She told E! News that Mike has been playing Bingo and helping people recover. Other than that, he’s been spending a lot of time in the gym. Duh. After Mike gets out, he will go through two years of supervised release. He also was ordered to complete 500 hours of community service, fined $10K, and had to pay back almost $124K, which he’s already done.

Mark McGrath says he’s going deaf. He told DailyMailTV, “It’s years and years of being on the road and being two feet in front of cymbals and drums.” Right now, he can’t hear high frequencies. He said, “I’ll be listening to people and they’ll tell me their names and I can’t hear anymore.” Mark’s still touring with Sugar Ray and has performances lined up through the end of the year. Doctors told him to use in-ears — a type of hearing aid that a lot of live performers use to hear themselves on stage — to prevent further damage. Mark said he never used them because he didn’t like that it blocked out so much noise that it sounded flat. But because he didn’t use those in-ears all those years, Mark is now suffering the consequences.

It took only 5 hours and 45 minutes for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new Instagram account — @SussexRoyal — to hit one million followers, setting a new world record. K-Pop star Kang Daniel held the previous record, hitting a million followers in 11 hours and 36 minutes.

Last week, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel sent Jussie Smollett a letter, giving him 7 days to cough up more than $130K to cover the costs of all the overtime pay police officers received investigating his hate crime hoax, only to have the charges dropped. Well, today is the deadline and so far, no check. Mayor Emanuel didn’t say specifically what he was going to do if Jussie didn’t pay, but the city of Chicago will most likely sue him in civil court. However, Mayor-elect Lori Lightfoot could reverse any legal action after she’s sworn in on May 20th.

Britney Spears posted a picture of a quote on her Instagram yesterday that said, “Fall in love with taking care of yourself, mind, body, spirit.” She captioned it, “We all need to take time for a little ‘me time.’ :)” Come to find out, Britney checked herself into an “all-encompassing wellness treatment” facility last week for a 30-day stay. Sources say she’s been suffering from extreme anxiety due to her father’s health problems. One source told People, “Her dad being sick has taken a toll on her. He nearly died and actually had another surgery a few weeks ago. He’s not doing well. They’re so close and it has been a lot. There is nothing dramatic going on with her — she just realized she needs to make sure to take time to care for herself.”
