Liam Payne banned from driving… P!nk shows postponed… Gwen Stefani at her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony… Jussie Smollett is seeking rehab… and Britney Spears on her 55-hour marriage

Liam Payne was tooting along in his Ford Ranger on a street in London when a bobby clocked him driving 43mph in a 30mph zone. Liam wrote a letter to the court admitted that he didn’t realize the speed limit and he apologized for speeding, but they apparently take this offense very seriously across the pond. Non only did Liam have to pay about $350 in fines, he is banned from driving in the UK for six months!

Pink has been forced to cancel 2 more concerts, but this time she’s being less vague about it. On Monday she announced she was canceling Tuesday and Wednesday’s shows in Tacoma because of “family medical issues” that required immediate attention. That sounded VERY serious and everyone’s minds were left to wander. But last night, Pink announced that a doctor advised her to cancel tonight and tomorrow’s shows in Vancouver because she’s suffering from a respiratory infection.

Gwen Stefani received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, surrounded by her sons, 17-year-old Kingston, 15-year-old Zuma and 9-year-old Apollo, and her husband Blake Shelton. Blake brought Gwen to tears during his speech, remembering the first time he met her on set of “The Voice” in 2014. He said, “She wasn’t like any other famous person that I had ever met before. She drove herself to work in a black minivan with car seats in it…It was clear to me that she was a mother first and foremost over anything else in the world — that was her No. 1 job. And now, standing here almost 10 years later after I first met her, I can say without question that being a mother is still the most important thing in her life. And I got to tell you all, that’s rare in this business.” Blake also said Gwen’s “unique style has made the world fall in love with her….not as much as me, though.”

Jussie Smollet was sentenced to 150 days in jail after being found guilty of lying to police over being attacked by MAGA supporters in 2019. He was released early on appeal and a decision on that is about to be handed down soon. Therefore, the timing of his decision to enter an outpatient rehab program seems a little suspicious to some people, including the two brothers who claim Jussie hired them to stage the attack. Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo told TMZ that if Jussie REALLY had a problem that required treatment, he could’ve checked himself in a long time ago. They believe Jussie realizes the chances of his conviction being overturned are slim, so he’s hoping the rehab move will garner enough sympathy so the judge will allow him to serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest.

It was reported that attorneys for both Justin Timberlake and Colin Farrell demanded to see Britney Spears’ memoir well in advance to make sure they didn’t have anything in there they could her over. It delayed the release for four months. We may never know what was left out, but what was left in is scandalous enough. Here are some quick hits ahead of the release of “The Woman In Me” on Tuesday. After her breakup with Justin, Britney said she lost her virginity to him, but in her book she admits it happened when she was in 9th grade with her brother’s best friend, who was a senior. She also said that after Justin cheated on her, she made out with Wade Robson to get even, but that was it. And then after Justin broke up with her by text, he slept with 6 or 7 girls while she had a 2-year fling with Colin. Britney wrote that she was introduced to him through a club promoter and then went to visit Colin on the set of his 2003 movie S.W.A.T. Things progressed VERY quickly. Britney wrote, “Brawl is the only word for it – we were all over each other, grappling so passionately it was like we were in a street fight.” Nothing worth suing over here, but I’m wondering what Colin was so worried about!
