Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg’s new movie “Uncharted” opened in first place at the box office, earning $51M over the extended Presidents Day weekend. The movie is based on the popular video game with Tom starring as Nate Drake and Mark as Victor Sullivan, as they search for Nate’s brother Sam AND treasure. “Dog” starring and co-directed by Channing Tatum opened in second with $18M. It’s about a war veteran and the Belgian Shepherd who helps him adjust after a traumatic brain injury.

Sources say we should hear very soon that “The Wendy Williams Show” is officially canceled and will be replaced by “The Sherri Shepherd Show” this fall. When producers told the un-shocked staff, they immediately hired them all for Sherri’s new show. Before Wendy left to deal with her health issues, on-set sources say she had become “somewhat unbearable, having tantrums and throwing things at people. Basically, the consensus among the crew is that she didn’t wanna be there anymore. Her illnesses may have exacerbated that feeling.” In fact, one source said they’ve been searching for Wendy’s replacement for YEARS and finally found Sherri.

Britney Spears has landed a huge book deal! Simon & Schuster reportedly are paying her $15M to tell her life story. This would tie her with President Bill Clinton for the second-largest book deal of all time. The top spot belongs to the Obamas, who got a reported $60M for a 2-book deal. Sources say Britney was so mad over her baby sister Jamie Lynn’s memoir that she immediately started trying to land a book deal of her own.
