A few weeks ago, Drake Bell pleaded not guilty after being charged with attempted endangering children — a 4th-degree felony — and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles — a 1st-degree misdemeanor. Yesterday, Drake changed his tune and pleaded guilty. He could face up to two years in prison when he’s sentenced in July. Drake was charged over an alleged incident back in December 2017. A 15-year-old girl claimed Drake engaged in an inappropriate chat with her that was sexual in nature. Cleveland police conducted an investigation and found the girl “established a relationship with Bell several years prior [and] attended his concert in December 2017.”

Last month, John Cena posted the WWE logo on his Instagram with no caption, which led to rumors that he was getting back in the wrestling ring. Last night, John told Jimmy Fallon that the rumors are true, but he just doesn’t know when that will happen. John explained, “I was feeling rather nostalgic about the WWE and I just wanted to post the logo, and some people took it as I was returning immediately, which that’s not the case. But I haven’t had my last match and I can’t wait to have my next match.” First, John has to finish promoting “F9” which hits theaters this weekend. Plus, he’s in the middle of filming “Peacemaker” — an HBO Max spinoff series starring John’s character from the upcoming movie, “The Suicide Squad.” John said, “The insurance doesn’t let you go wrestle on the weekends, so we’ll see what happens.”

Kevin Hart is teaming up with Snoop Dogg for “Olympic Highlights with Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg,” which you can watch on Peacock. If you haven’t subscribed to the streaming platform yet, this just may be what it takes to get you to pull the trigger. According to Peacock’s press release, Kevin and Snoop are “Olympic enthusiasts” who will serve as our “comedy guides through the Tokyo Olympics.” We don’t know yet when this show will air or how often, but I do know that it’s being produced by Kevin’s LOL Studios.

Scooter Braun says he’s “sad” about how his acquisition of Taylor Swift’s master recordings went over with her. Back in 2019, Scooter bought Taylor’s old record label for $300M, which included the rights to the recordings of Taylor’s first six albums. Seventeen months later, he sold Taylor’s masters to another company for more than $300M. Taylor said she was blindsided, but in a new interview, Scooter says that was NOT the case. He maintains that he did offer Taylor every opportunity to buy them back. Scooter said, “I regret and it makes me sad that Taylor had that reaction to the deal… All of what happened has been very confusing and not based on anything factual. I don’t know what story she was told. I asked for her to sit down with me several times, but she refused. I offered to sell her the catalog back and went under NDA, but her team refused. It all seems very unfortunate.” Taylor has said before that she could negotiate to buy her music back from Scooter, but he wanted her to sign an NDA that would prevent her from ever speaking out against him in the future. And Taylor decided not to work with the new owners of her music because Scooter made a deal where he still makes money off her music. She will not be in any deal that involves him. But after all the drama, Scooter still says, “I find her to be an incredibly talented artist and wish her nothing but the best.”

In some recent Instagram posts, Britney Spears told us she’s fine. She said, “I’m extremely happy. I have a beautiful home, beautiful children. I’m taking a break right now because I’m enjoying myself.” In court yesterday, she told the judge it was all a lie. Britney said, “I’ve been in denial. I’ve been in shock. I am traumatized. Fake it till you make it, but now I’m telling you the truth, okay? I’m not happy. I can’t sleep. I’m depressed. I cry every day.” Britney is asking the court to please free her from her conservatorship, which has controlled her every move for 13 years. While you can read the entire transcript online or listen to Britney speak for herself on audio posted on YouTube, some of the highlights from her statement included the fact that she didn’t want to tour. Britney wanted to take a break from performing, but her own management team threatened to sue her if she didn’t do her tour. However, they finally said it was okay for her to quit her Vegas residency. Britney said it felt like a 200-lb weight had been lifted from her, but she told her assistant that she was still afraid she was going to be punished for it. And that’s when her medical team changed her meds and put her on lithium, which messed her up and made her feel drunk all the time. She said she was also forced to go to expensive rehabs and had to pay for it out of her own pocket. And Britney told the judge, “Not only did my family not do a thing, my dad was all for it. Anything that happened to me had to be approved by my dad. And my dad acted like he didn’t know…The control he had over someone as powerful as me, as he loved the control to hurt his own daughter 100,000%. He loved it.” In addition to forced labor, Britney claims that she’s not even allowed to remove her IUD and have a baby. She just wants her life back. She wants to be in control of her decisions. She wants to go on vacations, have her boyfriend drive her around in his car, she wants to have a baby. And she wants the conservatorship to end without being tested AGAIN. She said enough is enough. Britney has gotten a ton of love online, including a message of support from her ex, Justin Timberlake. He tweeted, “After what we saw today, we should all be supporting Britney at this time. Regardless of our past, good and bad, and no matter how long ago it was… what’s happening to her is just not right. No woman should ever be restricted from making decisions about her own body. No one should EVER be held against their will… or ever have to ask permission to access everything they’ve worked so hard for. Jess and I send our love, and our absolute support to Britney during this time. We hope the courts, and her family make this right and let her live however she wants to live.”
