Sheen’s ex Brooke Mueller hospitalized for psych evaluation

Duck Dynasty’s last season… The Presidential Medal of Freedom… Kate Upton’s Twitter meltdown… Madonna recorded Carpool Karaoke… and Brooke Mueller hospitalized for psych evaluation

It’s the end of the road for “Duck Dynasty.” A&E said this was a joint decision between the network and the Robertson family. In a statement, A&E said they all want to give their loyal fans a long farewell with one last season, followed by a series of holiday specials. Original episodes will air through January 18, then after a short break, the show will be back on March 1 with seven final episodes. The last one is scheduled for April 12. “Duck Dynasty” premiered in 2012 and went on to become one of the biggest reality TV shows in history. By the finale, “Duck Dynasty” will have aired 130 original episodes.

Several celebrities are among the 21 people President Obama has chosen to give our country’s highest civilian honor — the Presidential Medal of Freedom. The award recognizes those who’ve made “an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.” Among those chosen by the president this year are Tom Hanks, Ellen DeGeneres, Robert DeNiro, Diana Ross, Lorne Michaels, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Michael Jordan. The awards ceremony will stream live on the White House’s website this coming Tuesday.

Kate Upton had a Twitter meltdown last night after her fiancé Justin Verlander lost this year’s Cy Young Award to Rick Porcello of the Red Sox, despite the fact that Justin got more first-place votes from the Baseball Writers Association of America. She tweeted, “Hey @MLB I thought I was the only person allowed to (BLANK) @JustinVerlander?! What 2 writers didn’t have him on their ballot? He had the majority of 1st place votes and 2 writers didn’t have him on their ballots?!! can you pick more out of touch people to vote? @MLB.” Kate then got it wrong when she tweeted that Rick didn’t receive “any 1st place votes,” adding, “You didn’t win. #ByeFelicia @MLB keep up with the times and fire those writers.” She’s also suggesting that the two sports journalists in Tampa Bay who didn’t vote for Justin were paid off.

Madonna’s dream has finally come true. She recorded Carpool Karaoke with James Corden yesterday. Madonna posted a selfie of the two the them yesterday, captioning it, “Riding around Manhattan with this Hunk of Burning Love.” We don’t know when the episode will air, but it may happen around the same time as her Showtime special December 9.

Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Brooke Mueller is hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation after she and her twin sons went missing. Brooke moved to Utah where she’s been going through an outpatient rehab program. Her mom reportedly called the Utah Highway Patrol and asked them to find her daughter, whom she believed to be mentally unstable. Troopers spotted Brooke’s SUV on the interstate about 83 miles outside Salt Lake City. She was with her 7-year-old twins and their nanny. Reportedly, witnesses claimed they saw Brooke beating her kids at the car wash earlier in the day. And the night before, Brooke reportedly walked barefoot into a Salt Lake City bar with her boys and the nanny and was trying to bum cigarettes. She and the nanny got into a fight but left before police got there. The children are reportedly safe now and they will be released to an undisclosed family member.
