Lizzo is launching Yitty shapewear… Kanye West gifts a $275K bag… Beckham burglary horror… Eric Church cancelled a concert… and Bruce Willis has announced his retirement
Listen to “Showbiz – Mar 31, 2022” on Spreaker.
Lizzo has teamed up with Fabletics to launch her own line of body positive shape wear — bodysuits, smoothing shorts, tank tops and unitards — ranging in sizes from XS-6X — one of the most size-inclusive shapewear brands out there. YITTY drops on April 12. “Yitty” was Lizzo’s childhood nickname. On her Instagram, Lizzo said, “This is a love letter to my big grrrls, and a welcome letter to Every Body. This is *not* an invitation to change who you are… this is an opportunity to BE who you are on your terms. I don’t know about y’all— but I’m sick of people telling me how I’m supposed to look and feel about my body. I’m tired of discomfort being synonymous with sexy. If it’s uncomfortable TAKE IT OFF. And if it makes you feel good PUT IT ON. @YITTY isn’t just shapewear, it’s your chance to reclaim your body and redefine your beauty standard.”

The go-to gifts for those orbiting the Kardashians and Jenners? Cars and purses. Kanye is rumored to have dropped an obscene amount of money on a new bag for the Kim Kardashian lookalike he’s “dating” at the moment, 24-year-old Chaney Jones. A source said Kanye wanted to FaceTime as the extremely rare $275K Birkin was delivered to her home in Houston. Apparently, Chaney has had her eye on that bag for a while. Insiders say she told Kanye she wanted it, so he bought it. The thing is, insiders say Kanye isn’t dating Chaney for real. He’s still doing whatever he can to make Kim jealous.

David and Victoria Beckham were chilling with their 10-year-old daughter Harper at their home in London when, unbeknownst to them, somebody broke in through an upstairs window. They didn’t even realize what happened until their son Cruz came home and saw one of their rooms had been ransacked. According to a source, the thief took off with a small number of items, including some electronics and designer items that were worth thousands of dollars. Obviously, the Beckhams were very shaken up over it but just grateful that nobody was harmed. Police are reviewing security footage but still haven’t made any arrests. They think the thief may have been in a gang that targeted at least two other nearby houses on the same night.

North Carolina and Duke meeting in the Final Four for the first time this Saturday night. Because of that, country music star Eric Church has canceled his tour stop in San Antonio — giving everybody a refund. Not rescheduling — a refund — all because he’s a huge Tar Heels fan. Through Ticketmaster, Eric wrote an open letter to his fans —
“To the Church Choir.
This Saturday, my family and I are going to stand together to cheer on the Tar Heels as the team has made it to the Final Four.
As a lifelong Carolina basketball fan, I’ve watched Carolina and Duke battle over the years but to have them matchup [sic] in the Final Four for the first time in the history of the NCAA Tournament is any sports enthusiast’s dream.
This is also the most selfish thing I’ve ever asked the Choir to do: to give up your Saturday night plans with us so that I can have this moment with my family and sports community. However. it’s that same type of passion felt by the people who fill the seats at our concerts that makes us want to be part of a crowd at a game of this significance.
Woody Durham always said, “Go where you go and do what you do,” thanks for letting me go here and be with the Tar Heels.”

On March 19, Bruce Willis celebrated his 67th birthday. Two days later, he celebrated his 13th wedding anniversary with Emma Heming. On their Instagram pages yesterday, Bruce’s wife Emma and his ex-wife Demi Moore posted the same cute picture of Bruce and the same statement. “To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities. As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him. This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support. We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him. As Bruce always says, “Live it up” and together we plan to do just that. Love, Emma, Demi, Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel, & Evelyn.” Aphasia is a condition where a person loses the ability to communicate. According to the Mayo Clinic, aphasia “typically occurs suddenly after a stroke or a head injury.” They say the condition can also gradually occur “from a slow-growing brain tumor or a disease that causes progressive, permanent damage.”
