Mariah Carey reportedly is THISCLOSE to signing a deal for a residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Sources say it could be worth more than Britney Spears’ deal at Planet Hollywood, and that Mariah’s show could be ready in time for this year’s holiday season.

Are Katy Perry and John Mayer working things out?? They were spotted together in Beverly Hills over the weekend — the first time they were seen together publicly since they broke up last spring. A source told “People” magazine that they buried the hatchet a while back and they’re friends, but it’s not likely that this is the beginning of another round of romance. The source says that even though they care about each other a great deal and really want to make it work, they’re just too different.

It happened earlier than everyone expected, but Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ baby is here! We didn’t really know the due date. All Blake would say is that the baby was due in 2015, but the baby reportedly arrived before the New Year. And THAT is pretty much all we know. Reps for the couple won’t comment and nobody will even say whether it’s a boy or a girl.

Patrick Schwarzenegger’s mom, Maria Shriver, is mortified that her precious son is dating Miley Cyrus. And sources say that over the holidays, they got into a heated argument about it and Maria threatened her son — either dump Miley or kiss your $49 million dollar trust fund goodbye! Reportedly, Patrick told his mother that she could “stick the money where the son don’t shine” and that he’d rather have Miley than money. Patrick isn’t set to inherit his trust fund until his 25th birthday, which is 4 years away. Think he’ll feel the same way at 25 that he feels at 21?

The couple hadn’t even confirmed they were engaged almost a month ago, but yesterday at her home in Beverly Hills, Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden became man and wife!! They pulled this off pretty quickly. The rehearsal dinner was held Sunday night at Cameron’s home, and then throughout the day Monday, workers were in and out, bringing in food and flowers and setting up a tent in the back yard for the reception. Among the almost 100 guests invited were Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow and Samantha Ronson. Cameron’s sister, her assistant, her BFF Drew Barrymore and Nicole Richie served as bridesmaids. (Nicole takes credit for setting Benji and Cameron up. She’s married to Benji’s twin, Joel.) Nicole and Benji’s son, Sparrow, served as the ring bearer. I’m guessing their daughter, Harlow, was flower girl, but I can’t find that anywhere.
