Kevin Hart will host the Oscars… Pete Davidson has joined a dating app… No Kardashian Christmas card… Nick Jonas didn’t invite Demi… and Cardi B says she has split up with husband Offset

Kevin Hart announced yesterday that he has signed on to host the 91st Academy Awards ceremony, which will air on ABC on February 24. Hopefully, he come bring some life back to this thing because the Oscars telecast has steadily lost 3 million to 4 million viewers every year for the past five years. The last two have been hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, and last year a record low 26.5 million people tuned in for that snooze-fest. This year, the Academy is trying something new. They’re going to hand out a majority of the 24 awards during the commercial breaks and only play back excerpts during the telecast. YAY!!!!!!! And they promise the show won’t run over 3 hours.

Pete Davidson knows that the best way to get over someone is to get back out there and find someone else. He needed a couple of months to mourn since Ariana Grande dumped him, but a source told Page Six that Pete has now joined “an exclusive dating app.” Why won’t people just say RAYA??!!

It’s the end of a tradition. Kim Kardashian said they’re won’t be a Kardashian Christmas card this year. If you watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians, you know how ugly it got between Kim and Kourtney, when Kourtney refused to delay dinner with her kids to shoot her part and Kim went off on her for not having a work ethic, which led to the fight where Kim called Kourtney the “least interesting to look at.” Kim said, “I have to say, thanks to last year’s Christmas card, that really did just (BLANK) us over.” Plus, coordinating everyone’s schedules at this point is simply so difficult that Kris Jenner simply gave up.

RadarOnline.com is reporting that Nick Jonas didn’t invite Demi Lovato to his wedding because she would’ve overshadowed his special day. On top of that, their source said Nick wasn’t even certain that Demi would be rehab at the time of the wedding. Either way, Demi reportedly is super ticked off about being left off the guest list and unfollowed Nick on Instagram last week.

Cardi B bared her soul — and almost her breasts! — on Instagram last night when she revealed that she and Offset are done. She said, “I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now. We’re really good friends, and you know we’re really good business partners, and you know, he’s always somebody that I run to to talk to and we got a lot of love for each other. But things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time.” Cardi said it was nobody’s fault and guesses they just “grew out of love.” Offset left a comment, “Y’all won.”
