Yesterday Netflix released the poster for their upcoming sequel to 2005’s “The Adventures of Sharkboy & Lavagirl.” First of all, who knew this was even happening?? But the new film is called “We Can Be Heroes.” Taylor Dooley returns as the now grownup Lavagirl, but that’s not Taylor Lautner pretending to be Sharkboy in that poster. That would be an actor named JJ Dashnaw. Fans are LIVID. We’re not sure why Taylor didn’t return. Was he even asked? Did he decline? Either way, Twitter was up in arms, asking, “What was Taylor Lautner doing that was so important he couldn’t help us relive our childhoods for a second??” But it is what is is. By the way, Pedro Pascal, Priyanka Chopra-Jonas, Christian Slater and Boyd Holbrook are all in the sequel, playing members of a superhero team called the Heroics.
Wanna feel old? Sharkboy and Lavagirl are parents now (and their daughter is played by Vivien Lyra Blair aka Girl from BIRD BOX)

JoJo Siwa is experiencing her first heartbreak. She and Mark Bontempo have broken up. But JoJo says there are no hard feelings, and she wants her fans to be nice to him. She responded to a fan who said she was unfollowing Mark on Instagram, “…Mark doesn’t deserve hateful things like this. He deserves to have people support him. You have NO idea about mark and I’s relationship. how much fun it was. how happy we both were, and how happy we both are. We decided it’s best for us to not be in a relationship…. that’s all. Still friends, I still have his back and he has mine. If you don’t wanna follow him like the millions of other people on Instagram you don’t follow that’s fine, but this post is immature. He is not toxic. We’re teenagers. And our relationship didn’t work out right now. He did nothing. I did nothing. Just better being friends. Relax.”
JoJo Siwa and her boyfriend Mark Bontempo have ended their relationship, but remain friends.

It was announced that Cardi B is this year’s Billboard’s Woman of the Year, and she had a little something to say to her “cry baby” haters who don’t believe she deserves it. Cardi posted an Instagram video saying she just keeps proving people wrong because, “I do what they say I can’t.” Cardi will receive her honor at the 2020 Women in Music Event on Dec. 10. Other women being honored that night include Jennifer Lopez, who will receive the Icon Award; Dolly Parton, the Hitmaker Award; Dua Lipa, the Powerhouse Award; and Chloe x Halle, the Rising Star Award.
